Gronk is a beast! I'm so happy we snagged him in the 2nd round. The offense looked great tonight, but the D was pretty vanilla. I guess BB is just saving his real schemes for the regular season though, right?

yeah im excited about Gronkowski as well.

Anyone have any guess what the Pats will do after this year with Maroney? Its his contract year. Id expect and want us to just dump him after this year. We can find just about any serviceable back to replace what he does for us, IMO.

I may be in the minority based on his lack of playing time in the preseason, but I think they're going to play Maroney alot in the first few games and give him a chance to be their #1 back. Bellichick has said some positive things about him, so maybe he thinks Maroney is their best back and just wants him fresh for the regular season.

"I just look forward to him scoring, because I don't know what he's gonna do as a celebration," Brady said. "He tells us after he makes big plays he kind of blacks out and really doesn't know what he does. That's kind of the funny part.
"

I can't wait for the season to start! I really hope Adalius is the 2nd LB to get Gronked. I'm going to spontaneously combust if that toolbox has a great season for the Yets.

Well apparently a sextape of Brandon Spikes and Laurence Fishburne's daughter leaked recently. I really hope he doesn't get suspended for it.

WTF is up with all the injuries in Boston this year? It seriously went to **** after Perkins got mauled in the finals. After that it's just been a chain reaction of injuries for the Sox and Pats. Unbelievable. I really hope McCourty can step up.

Is there any word on Cunningham? I'm excited to see what he can do.

It's definitely not Fishburne's daughter in that tape.

Damione Lewis cut, good news for rookies Love and Deaderick. Deaderick could be a beast in a year.

Bad news. Just reported Brady in car crash. No details except that he is hospitalized with serious injuries.

It seems he's probably okay. The early report I saw on channel 7 didn't even know which car belonged to Brady so there was a lot of confusion. Just now on WEEI they are reporting that the driver of the other vehicle ran a red light and got broadsided by Brady and that he got transported to the hospital but Brady refused treatment.

The way the Sox season went i feared the worst.

Brady refused transport to the hospital and went onto practice that day. Seems like he's fine. His Audi on the other hand...

feel really happy for him. personally I hate the patriots but I do like a guy who sacrifices for the team and then is shown he is appreciated for his accomplishments

Pats named captains today.

Kevin Faulk, Vince Wilfork, Tom Brady and Jerod Mayo

Faulk, really?

Who else should they choose? Wilfork and Mayo are the leaders on defense. Brady is clearly the head honcho on offense, and Faulk has paid his dues.

faulk is one of the more underrated players in the league imo..it seems like every time the pats needed a 3rd down conversion last year he'd be there
