Revis would be super intriguing. I'd rather pay him 14 a year or w/e than pay Talib 11 or 12

Yeah im there with you. When there was some random rumours last week about them trading for Revis I was on board with paying him $16m/yr and trying to restructure the contract rather than paying Talib $10m/yr.

So obviously now with the possible oppurtunity to give him a whole new contract its definately something im all for. I love Talib but Revis is a better player with alot less concerns and worth the extra money.

No idea how reliable this is but this person on twitter just said Pats are close to signing Talib after offering a better deal than the skins.

Looks like worst case scenario with Dobsons injury. It didnt heal with time so he underwent surgery and has a 2-3 month recovery time.

Going to let myself dream for the next five minutes about signing Talib then trading for Revis.

We may just sign Edelman and put him back in the secondary again and let Talib walk

doing work on both sides:

Edelman wanted Amendola money and the Pats wouldn't pay it. Not a shock and I think both sides are doing the right thing. Good luck Julian, helluva year.

So Edleman who is better than Amendola wanted his pay and they dont and let him walk that easy? Wow. They cant rely on Amendola. They need Edleman in their offense.

Now Revis, reading potential lanidng spots are Eagles, Pats, and Jets seem to be interested. I hear mixed report about Jets. Rex is already talking to Idzik about it.

Talk about a double fisting, not getting that 3rd rounder and him going to NE. JetsLuck!

Trade OC hates it, 99 % chance its the right move. He's a nearly perfect casualfan contra indicator as the least knowledgable football poster on the site.

Verner getting 4/26m with 14 guaranteed gives me hope that Talib comes back on a reasonable deal.

Thoughts of getting Revis is nice but at this stage i wouldnt be suprised if he goes back to the jets.

I like that Verner signing and agree on Revis to the Jets being reasonably likely.

Saw this on twitter, not a shocker if it happens.

Things could have changed in last 24 hour.. but sense I was getting from others is that Wilfork-Patriots relationship is nearing the end.

With Allen, Ware and now Peppers available, I hope the Pats get one of them. Desperately need DE depth.

Revis too obv...

Yup I'm clueless when it comes to football....You got me! Damn!

Talib to Denver....6yr/57M

Damn Revis might happen now....

I think Revvis more likely to go to NE than NYJ. He might still be bitter that he got traded and what better way to stick it toNYJ than play for NE. The classic is we traded him with 1 year left because the worry of him hitting the market and going to NE. MAJOR LOL. Plus Woody is fed up with Revis....But if itmeans getting him so NE doesnt it could happen.well see.

Revis never wanted to leave NY and says he would "love" to play forRex again....gonna be exciting.

Yup awful contract, overpaid.

NE has either Revis or Cromartie to choose from.

Was kinda hoping Talib goes back to NE so they'd be out of Revis sweeps but oh well.

Does NE got cap to offer like a 13M+annually to Revis? I think thats what it will take.

Suicide watch for salva.

Not gonna lie, i love talib as a player but i hate the deal. If pats signed that i wouldnt be happy.

If talib with all his issues got that contract, i dont see pats winning the bidding for revis. Unless the trade for him he wont be a patriot

Revis isn't going to happen. if it does I'll be thrilled but he is going to get max dollars from someone and I can't see it being BB.

Nice to come on here and see voices of reason. My FB feed is filled with idiots outraged that the Pats let Talib go. Trying to talk to them about how the cap and the NFL works is painful.
