How many times can they choke this year? How many times can Brady overthrow a wide open WR? Why don't they use Faulk more? Why did they stop using Watson?

Obviously the defense is a ****ing joke, but the offense has no excuse to take the 2nd half off in every game. This is just pathetic.

Well they used Faulk on that ******ed draw call. The offensive playcalling is so bad.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the Patriots run their five-wide offense under the assumption that every receiver is as skilled as Randy Moss or Wes Welker and that every player should be able to run every route equally well?

Only if we lose to Buffalo.

At least the Patriots have a somewhat soft schedule going forward.

Week 14: Carolina (5-7)
Week 15: @ Buffalo (4-8)
Week 16: Jacksonville (7-5)
Week 17: @ Houston (5-7)

1 win playoff team at best. seems like every other game we blow it or nearly blow it with a ******ed forced throw to moss. also hard to believe how bad this kickoff return team is. can u remember the last time we returned the ball past the 25?

this D just has no chance at doing anything vs a good team. dolphins would have scored more if not for henne just missing wide open guys randomly. banta cain had that good first drive, but that was pretty much the end of any pressure on the qb.

this team might be worse than last years team.

This team is much worse than last year's team. There's holes all over the freaking place. Guess that's what happens when you let DB after DB after DB after DB go because you don't want to pay them. Unless the offense starts torching teams again, which will only happen with improved playcalling, I don't see them winning more than one game in the post-season.

This team is much better than last year's team. Suggesting it's not is sheer lunacy.

The Patriots are clearly better this year. All of the losses have been close except one. Yesterday's game was just disgusting. They are so much better than Miami and the game should not have been even close.

You're right about one thing the game shouldn't have been close, NE got all the big plays to make it close, should have been a Fins win by 10+.
NE is probably a much better team than Indy, NO, and SD too right?

I think a few of you are getting caught up in the fact that last season there was no Brady and this season you have him. I believe last season had a better team, and if Brady was their QB last season, it obv was way different. The difference in this team from last goes well beyond the QB position.

Please. I have admitted many times that I am a Boston teams homer of the highest order. But you trying to say that the Patriots were lucky to keep it close with Miami yesterday is just absurd.

Patriots had two drives the whole game, one ended in a pick the other their
2nd TD. Lucky to keep it close

I take offense to this. I am clearly a higher order homer than you are. I still feel good about the Pats super bowl chances this year. I mean, if you look at their losses, only one (NO) was a situation where the Pats were clearly outplayed. This team could VERY easily be 9-3 and pretty easily be 10-2.

Yesterday was a bad loss but there were sooo many things that had to go perfectly (many of which were WAY out of charecter for the Pats and likley will not happen again) for the Phins to win. I mean, the Pats going for it on fourth instead of taking the points AND not getting it. Brady throwing an interception in the end zone. And a non-false start call on the 4th and 6 for Miami (the left guard clearly moved early). I wouldn't get too excited, Phins fans, your team is not making the playoffs this year.

I mean, I know your leveling but I can't help but respond. The 81 yard touchdown pass is discounted here? Really?

pretty silly to argue "lucky" here imo

A drive is not a big play TD, I mean a sustained drive where one team methodically moves the ball down the field

So how bad does it have to get to realize your SB chances aren't really there?

Even if you make the SB, odds are you will get crushed there. Odds are you will have 2 games on the road in the playoffs. And you guys currently have 0 road wins (1 neutral win vs TB).
