I would absolutely take Chip Kelly this instant. Though our OL and DL are lacking, we have the talent at the skill positions to do a lot of what his system requires.

And Frost would definitely come here if he got a legitimate offer.

Saw that on Reddit, ill believe it when I see it. Would be a great hire.

This upcoming bball season is going to be interesting. If NU is competitive and fun to watch then Miles likely keeps his job.

Gonna be real interesting to see how this season plays out. If we get nuked by teams running on us, get blown out by OSU and PSU, we might not see Diaco next year either.

No it doesn't swing both ways. Again, maybe I am being sentimental, but a program with expectations like Nebraska should NEVER hire an over the hill 60+ coach. EVER. And furthermore, doing just that over hiring an "unproven" guy that has always been a pure winner--a guy that would give anything to bring Nebraska BACK. Your ****ing Harbaugh. A guy that everybody in the B1G is hoping and praying you don't get--well again, you get the idea when I say Riley is one of the worst hires I have ever seen.

Total BS. Throwing random darts at hot assistant coaches around the country is clearly better than hiring Riley. And yet you guys could've done WAY better than that.

R U KIDDING ME. Do you have any idea what it takes to be successful in a cold state, with no good jobs, anemic local talent, and college girls that aren't that hot who would rather study than **** recruits????? Do you realize the level of energy Harbaugh is expending to fight against all that? I've never seen a coach work as hard as him. Gimme a guy with half his genes who already knows the CEO aspect of being a great coach any day of the weak.

Lol, I'm not gonna list out Harbaugh's track record of every place he had a HUGE positive impact. Come on now. It's been obvious Harbaugh is a pure winner since he destroyed the reigning national champions in 1984.

And if your argument boils down to judging someone based on how many medals he won, well come on now. Don't be ******ed. I watched one of the greatest teams I have ever seen, Penn State 94, get no hardware because they gave the national championship to a team that couldn't even throw a 10 yard pass. Does that make that Penn State team a bunch of losers. I don't think so.

**** Chip Kelly. It's your Harbaugh or bust for this program. Why even think about a coach who will never stay that long vs a loyal coach who bleeds red who could easily stay decades.

I'm all aboard the Frost hype train, but he's the one who has to make the decision to come here. We can drive up a truckload of money and he can still say no for whatever reason he wants.

Frost at this point would be a crapshoot. Possibly good, but also very possibly not.
Jesus Christ. This might be the most deluded post on 2+2 right now. You are not Alabama. You aren't entitled to sure things sir. A so called "crapshoot" with your Harbaugh is as good as it gets for you. And my god, this isn't even a slight. This "as good as it gets" situation just so happens to be really ****ing good. Every rational B1G non-Nebraska fan is hoping you guys don't get Frost for a ****ing reason, because it's obvious to everyone who doesn't consume GMO corn that Frost is a game changer, for Nebraska, for the B1G West, and for the B1G overall. Seriously, all of Wisconsin and Iowa are gonna sigh the instant Frost is hired.

I feel like I'm stuck in the twilight zone. Everything I've said was painfully obvious 3 years ago. How can an entire fanbase outside of MSU be this dense. It's funny, you all think you're too good for Frost. And you list out your bs reasons why. And the whole world outside of your depressing, flyover farm state just laughs at you, knowing it's the exact opposite.

You don't bring him home with truck loads of money, you convince Tom Osborne to fly down to FL and ask him personally to come resurrect the program.

Michigans Harbaugh had middling-to-good success at Stanford and then reached a Super Bowl over the course of a decade.

Scott Frost has gone 6-7 in one year at UCF.

UCF is 4-0 with all blow-out wins. At the worst this year, they will finish 10-2.

In two years, Frost has taken an 0-12 team to 6-7 and (potentially) 10-2. That's shown me that he knows how to assemble a staff and coach up his team.

Just shows people will make up anything to back up what they already believe.

Schu's got a point tho. I'm still pissed that Michigan hired some "unproven" loser who had 7 losses in his last two years at Miami OH back in 1969.

Bo was an assistant for 10 years and ahead coach for 6. He was a really good coach though. He got some conference championships but struggled in bowl games.

You should have picked a coach who became head coach after being an assistant for only 8 years. That guy won a bunch of conference titles and 3 MNC's.
