I don't feel real good about a 3 point lead here. Feels like if we don't give up a TD we'll have to win it in OT.

when they showed Mare warming up, I said to myself "I like that I didn't think he was good ten years ago."

the holding call on steve smith was pretty bad. vikings lucky not to lose in regulation

Sherrels is really stupid. All the punt return shenanigans and biting on an underneath route on 4th and 18. I guess we needs DBs right now, but I would be very happy if he was cut.

Ponder looked great generally made great reads/decisions. The touch throw he made to Shiancoe on the deep post that was dropped, was an amazing throw. I also love that the offense doesn't want to lean on Ponder so they finally have run/pass balance that they should have. I also love that we are using ADP in the running game.

lol at cutting a talented rookie like sherels for making rookie mistakes. the things he's done wrong are things that coaching can fix. and he's made a lot of good plays this year too, which is more than you can say about most vikings.

Cutting is harsh but he is a disaster on punt returns. I don't think he has made a correct fair catch/no fair catch decision all year.

Sherels is my boy, definitely don't want to see him cut Enough of that talk.

he needs to stop catching punts inside the 5 and letting ones at the 20 go untouched, its like he has no idea where he is on the field...as an actual returner though he is definitely better than the scrubs they ran out there last year, just needs to get his mind correct

in his defense the ones ive seen him let go at the 20 have been shanked etc where there were really hard for him to get to. yes he's made some terrible fair catches close to the goalline, but you can't expect me to believe that that won't improve with coaching and experience.

He's the pride of Rochester MN. Cutting him would be terrible PR

I'm fine with keep Sherels - he might be a good player someday. The trouble is we shouldnt be in a situation where we need to play an undrafted rookie so much.

When I saw the flag on that play my immediate reaction was "good, they're penalizing Allen for taking the worst angle of all-time."

The actual penalty on Smith was, as someone else pointed out, pretty weak.

It's amazing how good the few good players on the Vikings are.

They don't have a starter-quality player in their secondary. Their WR and OL are mediocre and they have a rookie QB. That shouldn't add up to a team that is playing in the range of league average.

I can't imagine what they'd look like without JA and AdP.

On a purely anecdotal level it's felt like we've had zero drop-off from Edwards to Robison (given how little I've heard his name coming out of Atlanta as well). Anyone wanna confirm? I'm looking for more things to feel good about.

Probably true. Not that Ray wasn't great. I was sorry to see him go. Robison is just also very good. PFP loved Robison last season iirc.

Our DEs are damn good overall despite losing Edwards. Griffen looks like he's a player too.

Finally saw a decent replay of the Steve Smith holding, and I thought it was holding. Greenway got turned all the way around and Smith didn't complain.

Pretty good Kluwe interview among the things he says: ADP can squat the most of anyone on the team.

If we could upset GB's perfect season in lambeau in prime time with our rookie qb, that would prolly keep me content as a fan well into the offseason.

2 nice showings in prime time.

I wonder if Chilly still thinks he left this team in better shape then when he got there.

Receivers are never open. Need serious help in that area. O-line is obviously brutal too.
