His record vs Green Bay was 5-3. He had the worst support in the NFL from ownership as far as financial commitments to players and the coaching staff. He was fired after going 9-7 in 2004.
chilly took over a 9-7 team and went 6-10 his 1st season. After receiving as much financial help from his owner for his players and assistant coaches as any team in the league, he managed to go 39-35 in his career.
He was 3-7 vs Green Bay.
Those facts suggest that Tice was a lot better coach than chilly.
We all know how bad chilly sucked. You're right - we know the team is as "well" off (lol well - 3-7 with ~10 pro bowlers) now as it is in spite of him.
