It's not like the NBA, where a bad team can still be high flying and enjoyable to watch every game.
I think if Buxton and Sano were playing well and they were still losing it'd be a lot easier to stomach.

The Angels were pretty bad last year but Trout single-handily made them entertaining and did everything he could to get them into the playoffs.

You mean next year's draft?

We're picking 15 this year.

Eh I think they are plenty watchable. Park and Sano ABs are must-watch, Berrios is fun to watch when he's starting and I'd put Duffey and Meyer into that category as well though I know Meyer struggled and isnt currently up.

They are certainly worse than I expected they would be but...so what? I didnt think they'd make the playoffs this year, so if they finished 10 games out or 20, I guess I dont really see the difference. this season was always gonna be about seeing what actual talent there was in all this minor league potential. I'd say Park has been every bit what I hoped and more, Berrios looks like a stud. Sano has struggled but has done very little to change my expectation of him. Buxton still not getting it sucks a little, but thats balanced a little by Arcia being a potentially useful piece and guys like Nunez showing flashes of being legit MLB players

Buxton has been playing pretty well in AAA, .850 OPS.

Hitting hasn't been the problem this year for the most part. It's our ****ing awful pitching and sloppy defense. We were never this erratic and sloppy under Gardenhire.

Can any Twins fans help give me a better idea of what's going on with your team this season? I'm so used to being able to catch a Twins game and watch beautiful fundamental baseball.

To be honest, I think letting go of a great manager like Gardenhire was a poor move.

Team has no heart. Just a bunch of young guys running around in circles. Losing Torii was a bigger blow than originally thought.

Gotta watch the Royals now if you want to see enjoyable fundamentals. Twins have been terrible fundamentally for like 6 years.

Twins outscore Yanks 30-28 for season series, lose season series 2-5.

Everyone who had any input on player decisions the past 10 years or so should go after this season is over. I dont think this bunch could have done any worse if they had tried.

Starting at the top and letting the new GM decide who to fire or keep is standard and fine. Saying they aren't allowed to fire Molitor is ridiculous.

yeah, the thing that concerns me is that they pick another one of their guys from inside this messed up organization to be GM. They need to go outside of this bunch and get someone who does things differently than this group of failures did.

Hopefully they don't do they Twinsey thing and just promote Rob Antony, who cited pitcher wins and RBIs as the stats he pays attention to in an interview a few years ago.

So do we think this is rock bottom for buxton or can he possibly be worse at some point in the future

Good thing the Twins have KEPLER to be their new outfield star
