We'll beat these assclowns at least once this year imo. If we shoot anywhere near normal, we blow them out this game. I would have liked to see Pek in more at the end.

showed some heart tonight. i thought beasley played absolutely great. obv i don't see every game but this is the first game i've ever seen where his effort on defense and rebounding really stood out. i thought he played smart and hard the whole game. i hope we see more of that

Nice to have Webster back. He's really going to help if he can stay on the court.

I didn't think Kobe was the issue in the game, it was the 2 dunks Bynum had down the stretch and Pau early on. Everyone else on the Lakers seems awful.

I think everyone else on the Lakers is awful.

Webster shot too much imo. 4-15 in 23 minutes? Rubio had a pretty blah game also.

Beasely and Randolph are both really good off the bench imo.

Also, no more Brad Miller plz

We'll see with Webster. He seemed really bad in the first half.

+1 to beasley playing well.

he made smart basketball decisions for most of the night. he got a nice PNR with pek early on and played good defense. this team can be pretty good if he plays like that more often.

Meh, not much Adelman could do. No Darko and Pek picked up his third in the first half. While still playing man D, you have to have another big there to combat the size of Gasol and Bynum. Randolph isn't big enough.

Plus, Miller has been out for like forever with his microfracture surgery and with the breakneck schedule of the NBA this year, there hasn't been virtually any time to practice. So yeah, he's gonna be rusty as hell. Miller was used in the capacity he probably should be - a body to lean on/bump/etc. the other team's bigs when needed.

Once the Wolves went to the zone, Miller was no longer needed since they used a smaller, speedier lineup. But had the Wolves been playing man and someone like Tolliver or Randolph had been put in on Gasol or Bynum, I'd insta-dump it there every possession. Both are way too physically big for anyone else on the Wolves to guard man-up.

Good coaching call by Adelman - I can almost guarantee that Rambis would just keep sticking to straight man and let the Lakers bigs light us up.

See some of my comments above for Miller. Webster has been out for what seems like forever and is just getting back. With the compacted NBA schedule this year, there has been no time to practice so the only real time the team has to work out is in games; of which Webster has barely played any.

Let's be patient with all the guys coming back from injury - esp. Webster and Miller. They are trying to gel on an unfamiliar team with almost no time to work out and practice together. I'm not saying either will be a viable contributor but to me the jury is still out on what they can bring to the Wolves table.

Great game imo. Damn Lakers, Damn Kobe. Pau is amazing thou. Rubio needs to either take less shots, or start making more. We are starting to see the negative side of Rubio, still does everything else right thou.

Webster looked good considering he hasn't played in forever. His shot was lol-off, but seriously, no one liked his hustle, that one sick putback, and his reverse layup off of the Rubio behind the back pass that Webster was ready for?

Miller - meh, I'm indifferent on him. He's another big body. Maybe he'll give us something once he practices & plays some more.

Beasley - This was his best game of the year. He did make an effort to move the ball instead of stopping it every time he got it, but he still forced some shots. One thing that bugged the **** out of me - he gets the ball in traffic sometimes and holds it like there are no defenders near him - he's oblivious to people trying to steal it. Trade him while he's hot imo.

Webster is infinitely smarter and way better defensively than Wes. He handles the ball well. His shots will fall. He's shown that he will be a slightly better than avg player once he shakes the rust off and gets in shape, and he will shoot 3s well. I hope he takes all of Wes' PT immediately. I'd like to see him get some of Beasley's too.

The Lakers will not always shoot that well and we wont always shoot that poorly. They ran hot last night. We played well aside from shooting. 4 TOs for the game! That used to be a typical quarter for us. And a 52-41 rebound edge. Maybe if we stick Pek in there with a few minutes left, Bynum doesnt have such an easy time and we beat them?

Not sure I completely agree with the Lakers winning because they ran hot and shot well. That was part of it but they crashed the glass hard in the first half and out hustled most of the Wolves. It was almost like they were in desperation mode since their road record was so terribad.

Credit Adelman for making the adjustments needed to get the Wolves back in the game (Rambis: Adjustments? Like my tie knot?) The zone clearly worked and the Wolves came out with lots of energy. I still thought the effort in the first half was meh at times. Too many lackadasical plays. Plus how many more times were Pek and the rest of the bigs going to give Gasol that open midrange J? GRRRRRR...

In the end, the Lakers did shoot well and Kobe was absurd but the Wolves had a large hand in their own demise last night. I hope we get off to a much better start vs HOU.

The bad starts are making what could be a playoff team into a below average team. We're able to come back some of the time, but it would be nice to get a good start sometimes so we dont have to dig out of holes in every game.

You bros ready for part 2 of the KMART show tonight? I think he gets like 35 points on 18 shots and the Rockets win by 15.

Bryant: "You talking about London?"

Gasol: "Oh yeah."

Rubio: "You're gonna be there?"

Bryant: "Yeah."

Rubio: "You know you're getting the silver medal. You know that."

Bryant: "Shiiiiiiit! I'm taking bets. If I win, I get the keys of Barcelona."

Rubio: "I bet what you want."

Bryant: "I'll take it!"

Martell being available should help. We had trouble defending that 4 guard lineup HOU used last game. Should be a good game this time.

Yeah that sucks. It's not a Wolves game unless we're down 8 in the first 5 minutes.
