Let's just go 17-4 to finish the season. Make the playoffs, cover the over, have insane momentum for GS.

...he says two days before an away game in San Antonio.

yeah, they had a tough game last night vs NO. They won 101-98. Leonard & Aldridge played 40 mins each, and D Green & Gasol played 36 mins each. Hopefully they come out sluggish against us tonight and we play the way we did vs Utah.

I'm with Jim Pete, I don't understand repeatedly iso'ing Wiggins against Kawhi down the stretch, particularly when he was obviously gassed.

yeah. Missed FTs and a handful of terrible TOs killed us.

Agree. Kawhi was making everything hard for Wiggins and even if Wiggins beat him, the help defense was great. There's no team in the NBA that does a better job of shutting down Wiggins than the Spurs. We should have been feeding Towns more.

Wolves up to 11th in SRS!

Best DRTG in the league since the all-star break. That includes giving up 142 in regulation to Houston.

The Clippers game last night was the most satisfying win all season. I never got that nervous feeling that we were about to give the game away. When they hit that lucky shot at the end of the half, we took it to them in the 3rd and buried them in the 4th. I love beating those whining, cheapshot *******s. Blowing them out is even more fun.

Canis had an article yesterday suggesting we needed to 15-5 or better the rest of the way to have a great shot at the playoffs. They had a list of 10 "easy" games and 10 "hard" games, so assuming we go 10-0 in the easy games, we need to steal 5 hard games as well. Last night vs the Clippers was one of the hard games.

KAT and all 3 of our PGs played very well last night. Dunn's defense is fun to watch. I think he played his best game of the season last night. Rubio was outstanding. When was the last time he outplayed Paul?

We need to keep playing like this.

That steal looked like it was against the Washington Generals.

I've looked at the schedule. It's hard to find 10 easy games.

Our 8 losses when leading by 15+ will most likely haunt us.

That Rockets loss at home is the one that kills me the most.

yeah, that's why I used quotes. Here's the article: http://www.canishoopus.com/2017/3/8/...s-paul-griffin

The 10 Most Difficult Games Left on the Schedule

April 4th @ Golden State Warriors
April 12th @ Houston (road back-to-back)
March 10th v. Golden State Warriors
March 21st v. San Antonio Spurs
April 7th @ Utah Jazz (road back-to-back)
March 15th @ Boston Celtics
March 11th @ Milwaukee Bucks (road back-to-back)
March 25th @ Portland Trailblazers (road back-to-back)
March 13th v. Washington Wizards
Tonight v. Los Angeles Clippers

Yes, the Clippers may be better than the Bucks and the Blazers, but the fact that those games are not only on the road but also games that follow a game the night before, the odds of a Wolves win drops. Specifically, the Utah and Portland games are back-to-backs in the midst of a road trip. According to DatabaseBasketball.com, an average NBA team (which the Wolves arguably are) lose road-road back-to-backs 67.1 percent of the time since 2001.
The 10 Easiest Games Left on the Schedule

March 30th v. Los Angeles Lakers
March 24th @ Los Angeles Lakers
April 9th @ Los Angeles Lakers
April 1st v. Sacramento Kings
March 19th @ New Orleans Pelicans
Date TBD v. Portland Trailblazers
April 6th @ Portland Trailblazers
March 28th @ Indiana Pacers
April 11th v. Oklahoma City Thunder
March 17th @ Miami Heat
I dont know if I fully agree with how he laid out those games, but the premise that we need 14 more wins seems like a good number to shoot for.

All those blown leads are really killing us now.

We have the 7th best point differential in the west right now at 0.0 difference per game.

That and a game we lost vs Utah at the end was similarly bad, but not quite as bad..... but there were lots more than just those two.

We should have never lost to the Knicks and we went 0-2 vs them. There are tons of other games we should not have lost as well.

Haha yeah, I almost wrote the Rockets loss at home and the Utah loss at home. Those games were such gut punches.

The game the other day vs the Spurs was very winnable too. There was a time when a loss like that would have been a moral victory, but without all the bad TOs and missed FTs we had in that game, we should have won it. Just one more made FT or one less bad TO wins us that game in regulation.

This is the team I thought we'd be seeing back in November. It took a lot longer than I expected, but we are getting there.

That's pretty nuts.

Nice win. Schedule is still insane. Only have 4 games vs teams tanking.

Wolves last 10 games:

W Bulls 117-89
L Cavs 108-116
W @Nuggets 112-99
W Mavericks 97-84
L @Rockets 130-142
W @Kings 102-88
W @Jazz 107-80
L @ Spurs 90-97 Overtime
W Clippers 107-91
W Warriors 103-102

I'm guessing that's been the hardest schedule in the league the last 10 games Wolves are outscoring opponents 107.3-98.8
