Like I said, I love Ricky. We're talking about a 5 yr max deal though, these are important questions to ask.

I haven't watched much lately, are a decent percentage of his turnovers throwing passes at people who aren't looking at him/ready for them?

He had a lot of FPS'y TOs in the last game, along with a couple careless ones.

A 5 year max deal is getting a little bit ahead of ourselves at this point.

Don't mess with PEK.

Jim P's comments, "...I don't know what he was thinking about...just walk away".

My Monday night bowling team made the rolloffs, which start next week. I cant prebowl, so I need to find someone to take next Monday's (4/15) Wolves/Utah tickets off my hands so I can bowl in the rolloffs. $60 total for the pair (that's what I paid for them), section 131, row W, seats 5 & 6. These are right at mid court in the lower bowl. Great seats. Anyone here want them?

yeah, its great seats and they're priced pretty cheaply. I'd go to the game if we hadnt made the rolloffs.

Still need to sell 'em cha? I'm sure my brother or one of my best friends would take them off your hands for that price.

The strong sense from some people around the league who know Rick Adelman is that he will retire this summer...

with two years left on his contract as Timberwolves coach.

Adelman told me March 21 that he will think about walking away unless doctors can diagnose and successfully treat a health issue with his wife. He does not want to start 2013-14 with that unresolved and face the possibility of another leave of absence.

But at least some who know him take it a step further and say retirement is not only a real option, it is likely. One person who has talked with Adelman said that unless the family gets some very good news about Mary Kay, it would be a big surprise if Rick returned.

When we talked a few weeks ago, Adelman would not estimate the chances of his return or retirement. He said that would not be fair while asking players to block out surrounding issues and fully invest on a strong finish to a letdown season in Minnesota. a day ago
The stuff other than the bolded is old news. I wonder if this guy's new source(s?) know what they're talking about. I hope not.

So who is the dream replacement?

Who is the most realistic?

Don't know enough about coaches to make an educated guess. Porter would be eh...I like how CJ got more time but I'm not sure

If Adelman goes, its highly likely Kahn is all done. I've heard the only reason Kahn would be kept is if Adelman stays, and that's just because any new GM might feel more comfortable bringing in his own head coach. I guess this will be the one big positive thing if Adelman leaves, assuming we hire a good GM this time.

For head coach, I like either Van Gundy. I'd be very happy with one of those guys.

Not Porter, no ****ing way. He's failed miserably twice as head coach already. Do not want! I think (hope I'm right here) that the whole staff is gone if Rick is gone and we start over.

Rumors about bringing Flip back have been flying around. He's been mentioned as a potential GM, coach, and has even been talked about as trying to put an ownership group together. I'm sure we could do worse, but meh.

Some other names people have thrown out include A. Gentry (meh), S Mitchell (meh) and E. Turner (I dunno).

I don't think Flip is anything special but they could do worse. Either Van Gundy is a pretty stud coaching pick although sticking with Adelman is ideal obv if his wife improves.

Btw, question mainly for Cha59 - so you hate the Lakers so are you rooting for the Twolves to drop their two games with the Jazz to help them catch up or do you want the Twolves to win?

I mean, losses can only help the Twolves chance in the lottery and what else is there to root for this season?

I want the Wolves to win, but it wont disappoint me if they lose both games to the Jazz.
