Just watched it. It was at Caroline Kennedy level with the "uhs" and "umms." It doesn't say anything about his ability to potential contribute at quarterback for UM, but I would hope that after 4 years at Duke a guy would be able to speak in complete sentences.

I agree that this is a freeroll. The more QB's the better.

lol, what was wrong with his eyes when he was on PTI?

I don't get why he would transfer to be a backup QB...go to a non-BCS school to be a starter or even a I-AA if worst comes to worst.

Because he has one year. Football is a longshot for him, so go big or go home.

How likely are we talking him actually joining the team now?

10-25%?

I'd say 10% tops

Sounds more like 50ish%, maybe higher. We should know in the next couple of days.

Yea I think it's around 50%

50%?????????????? isnt his whole goal in this to somehow lucksack an nfl job in 2010? coming to a spread offense where he wont even play is like his worst possible choice...

Paulus is more than likely looking to come somewhere where he can just get back in the football swing if he wants to try out for the NFL.

Yeah, uh, the Paulus PTI segment:

Yeah, uh, goddamn what a useless 5 minutes, I didn't think I could hate the kid any more.

And here's Tate saying he's not worried about it and that Paulus hasn't been offered anything:

As a long time Duke fan, you can have him. Good riddance. Thank god he graduated.

I don't know, this quote doesn't exactly inspire confidence. The standard response here should be something like "I welcome the competition", not 3 paragraphs of rambling about how you're not worried and the coaches are desperate to reassure you.

Michigan might be only to take one out of Jason Forcier and Greg Paulus. Because of the NCAA, Paulus might actually be easier to get through logistically. Tate's just looking out for his brother, nothing more. People are reading way too much into what he's saying and doing.

Bump for Marvin Robinson commitment. Big-time safety out of Florida, been a silent commit for a while. Rich Rod is just raiding Florida.
