I found Larry Foote's speech. It's a 70MB download, though.

I don't understand what people's problem is with the rally. I would go watch Michigan football hype videos and listen to former coaches and players speak all day long any day of the year.

Ty Law doesn't get along with a lot of coaches.

How about Charles Woodson? He wouldn't say "University of Michigan" until Lloyd left.

perfect statement. he's a casual michigan fan who doesn't like being harassed by friends/whoever, but he knows he can't switch now, so he just bitches about literally everything.

whatever i guess...how much he likes UM football doesn't really matter much.

"Donovan Warren/CB/Michigan: Warren started by struggling to get under 4.7 in the 40. He was ineffective in drills, exhibiting a poor backpedal, no burst out of his plant and an inability to change direction without losing a lot of momentum."

I thought he would go 3rd-4th before his poor showing. I don't know now. 4th-5th or what???

To give him credit, it's hard to be positive when your team has been a complete pile of dog crap for the past 2 years. But hey, maybe you guys should hold another Pep Rally since Ohio State didn't beat you in 2010 yet.

Ohio State fans certainly had the right to be pissed off back in the 90s (well, they were putting up top 5 teams, just losing 1 very important game per year). I know 99 and 2000 (when I was in school) caused a lot of people to be negative (and we at least stayed at .500 or better those years). It was time to run Cooper out of town, everyone celebrated, and we brought our savior in, and had a title in 2 years. No, I'm not 50. I'm not even 30.

Hey, if you think you are going to be on the right track, then no complaints. Lots of people thought Cooper would eventually figure out Michigan (and he won a LOT more games than Dickrod), and a lot of people thought Weis just needed "one more year" to get his people in place. Dickrod might be able to right the ship, but it's something that hasn't been done that often (taking a decent team, running it to epically bad levels, then returning to greatness).

Of course it's not forever. It's just until you decide to get rid of DickRod, hire someone who knows what they are doing, and give them enough time to recover from his epic failure. I just hope it's Les Miles so we can repeat this process again.

thx for the history lesson

I'm sure when wiper asked if the 90s bothered you that he had no idea what happened during them.

I am 50 - and I do remember the 90's. I remember how absolutely brutal the m*ch*g*n fans were. The most pompous fans on earth. Seriously - you ever been to ann arbor? What a joke. It is funny how now these same fans totally forget what A$$'s they were back then. We went to the game in the big dig twice and had our car keyed both times...and we didn't even have any OSU gear on it - nice. My wife had her OSU hat ripped right off her head after another loss. I worked a couple days a month near the Detroit airport - brutal. They wanted Cooper to stay in Columbus forever. Well guess what - we hope richrod stays there for 10 more years - or as was said before take les myles. He is just as bad. Trust me - the SEC loves him at LSU!!!

So if you get tired of the OSU fans bashing you just remember how horrible your fans acted in the 90's. Yes it will turn around - but your fans can't gain class.

BTW - the red wings fans are 10 times worse.........

The fans during the OSU-Michigan game are 10 times worse in Columbus than in Ann Arbor according to basically every source I've read. If you wear OSU gear to Ann Arbor you'll get booed, yelled at, and made fun of. If you wear Michigan gear to Columbus, you'll fear for your safety.

Seriously, I hope the previous post is a huge level. Some Michigan fans driving to Columbus rent a car in Toledo so it doesn't get ****ed with. There are/were youtube videos documenting Ohio State fans throwing urine on Michigan fans as they walked to the stadium. Columbus is a million times worse. Why don't you think Michigan fans don't travel to Columbus but Ohio State fans show up in Ann Arbor in groves? It has nothing to do with loyalty and everything to do with how the opposing fans are treated.

Should we mention the huge coincidences in the Michigan team hotel over the years?

Thanks for the hospitality. Nothing like home field advantage for an "away" game.

I definitely believe it is worse in Columbus. We don't want you there. GTFO. Don't come. Stay in Ann Arbor. Even students at Ohio State with Michigan plates are smart enough to move their cars 10+ miles from campus.

Although the urine might have been beer. It's hard to distinguish the beer the tailgaters drink and urine sometimes.

The best part is, when Texas came to Columbus 4 years ago, there was so much outrage because there were people "standing up, cursing, and yelling at them". Oh My! I pretty much told any Texas fan bitching to come back for Michigan if they want to see when we aren't on our best behavior.

That's what separates Jim Tressel from John Cooper. JT knows it's not a football game. It is the fight of good against evil.

I was way more intense when I was actually in school and have launched some beers off my porch on Greenwood at buckeye d-bags. You didn't get a very warm reception trolling down that street by anyone. However as I got older and a little more mature I still hate the hairless nuts guts but not going out of my way to do anything stupid. TomCollins maturity level seems to match the level of education received at tOSU....similar to a 13 year old
