We did not see functional QB play today.

Peters laying down before the ****ing LOS perfectly encapsulates this season's QB play. So dynamic. So inspirational.

Shea better be eligible right away. If not it will be Chris Webber timeout pain inducing.

That is rough, congrats to all UofM fans that don’t live in metro Detroit. Spartys have been rabid and this won’t slow it down.

if there is a bright side heads will probably roll on offense now

wouldn’t rule out a Saban-esque offensive evolution to a completely different scheme by Jim

Agree with this, I got so discouraged by the DPJ drop because of when it happened in the game, because I didn't want any possible excuse for one play to "change it all around" type of thinking.

If nothing changes on the offensive staff (Drev / Pep / Jay all back) I'll be quite discouraged.

idc about Jay, RBs were fine (we got spoiled by Deveon being a +++ pass blocker) and he doesn’t have any role in playcalling/scheming afaik

Drevno, okay, OL improved into at least a decent power unit. Hard to identify what Pep’s value add was, though. QBs? Recruiting? Play design?

Both drevno and Pep are mediocre recruiters and has been mentioned by alot of staff writers on 24/7.

I feel that either in CFB you need to be a sick recruiter or amazing with Xs and Os, and I don't think they are either.

I do try to remind myself that we were without JBB and Bred. I did misspeak, Jay is a pretty good recruiter and does what is needed.

Missing Bred and JBB really wasn't an issue today, the OL played good for who they are.

Peters never starts another game as Michigan QB.

WRs didn't make plays or get seperation.

Standard RB play, Higdon fumble was bad.

No mental toughness and playcalling was dogsht.

Don Brown is a like a fast ball pitcher who doesn't throw anything but fastballs, if he could only mix in some curves or sliders. Got that analogy from someone else.

4th down late they throw a 40 yard bomb? WTF
Last 4th and 1 they throw a 15 yard out? WTF.

No leader on offense and that leader really needs to be the QB.

Hard to criticize don, I tend to side with you but he basically came out earlier I think this week and said he is what he is and just have to deal with it.

Saw a michigan daily writer put a quote up from a SC CB that said they were ready and knew what to expect, so I’m in the thought of play calling is and was this teams biggest problem, then probably OL play with WR play slightly behind it.

If Michigan fans are going to be questioning Don Brown this offseason, then I'm checking out for about 8-9 months.

jfc we hired defensive Jesus and people still complain

I get mad at the occasion big play that we let up and could have been prevented but think of all the 3 and outs he gets. My god the last two seasons so many games!

Wasn’t it the MSU game this year that they didn’t get a first until the very end of the 4th qrtr?

Defense is great, lol anyone complaining about anything re: defense

Uh, the offense is a ****ing abomination. Lots of programs have injuries and coaching transitions. It has been absolute AIDS with little to no improvement. The offensive line is atrocious. The WRs did not develop at all. All the QBs sucked. And my god the playcalling.

I'm gonna ignore all this and stubbornly stick to my theory that the messiah is coming. Honestly, it seems like the only viable non-depressing route right now.

lol that analogy sucks, Brown is known across the coaching world as being one of the best at mixing up looks and never showing the same thing drive to drive

his defense asks safeties to play man coverage over receivers, sometimes you’re going to get hit and teams attacked the safeties this year because it was absolute futility to try and do anything else

The takes out there right now are just scorching. And remarkably dumb, especially the "Harbaugh hasn't done anything" variety.

I would not be sad if Pep Hamilton moved on. When your passing game is as bad as it was this year, the passing game coordinator may be the problem. To my amateur eye the route trees were simplistic and predictable. Hard for receivers to get separation if the DB knows what's coming.
