The more you watch Michigan the more it reminds of Charlie Weis Notre Dame. Big recruits, big talk, not good football

OSU fans have filed into the Buffalo Wild Wings I'm at in Ohio. Poor white trash looking group IMO.

so is this a specifically university of michigan football thread or a general state of michigan football thread? I need to know the proper place to discuss Michigan State going to yet another big ten title game

I'm strangely furious at every single mouthbreathing alumni who forced MANBALL on us. Would it really have been so serious to pay for casteel and support rich rod instead of sabotaging the program at every turn because of your dinosaur related thoughts of what football should be.

serious q: is there another program in CFB that is as beholden to an ideology/normative belief of what football "should be" at the expense of winning as michigan?

this, love working saturdays after a game and chatting with UM fans, and vast majority hate RR and, well before this season, LOVED Hoke, some are starting to turn and most say borges has gtg.

Today should be interesting, many still think LES is coming here, its really a wide variety of fans we get but majority, as a whole, are becoming frustrated with the Coaching staff and feel some changes need to be made.

ie I've been right all along!!!! It's getting closer tho. Blank check for a DC was an option for this program. Brandon gonna have to pull rank and fire Borges. Still on the fence if he has the testicular fortitude to cross Hoke and Jerry Jones this bitch.

It was an option but not a realistic one because huge parts of the alumni base were never going to give him a chance. You can't recruit in that environment. RR had to go, but not because he couldn't coach

When your football team sucks, it's important to find other ways in which you can feel superior.

agreed, i know it would never happen but just imagine that RR offense, with Mattison as DC

More time management ******ation by Michigan at the end of the 4th quarter.

Michigan has 3 TO left.

Iowa 1st and 10, they run for a first down, clock stops. Play clock will be set at 25 and run.

Calling a TO, saves 25 seconds.

By saving it, letting 25 run off now, you can save 40, 40, 40

instead of 25, 40, 40

Good job fat **** coach U

I was thinking the same thing with some of those playcalls. Weis replaces Borges, ONE TIME.

Michigan, 1st and goal from the 5 (early on)

Mason "Iowa has given up only 4 rushing TD in their last 10,000 red zone attempts"

Immediately run up the middle for -3 yards
