Sad for Pennington, he was a great player and we'll always have 2008 to remember very fondly. Henne is a joke. I'll have to admit I don't know much about Thigpen, doubt anyone really does at this point, so we'll see.

****ing Jets.......

The RRR disease spreads. You know Henne had almost a 70% completion percentage through 28 passes today right?

You know he played 3 quarters and only led them to 1 td drive of 13 yards. I don't know what it is, but the offensive players don't like henne. As soon as he went out everything about the offense got better, and Thigpen led them to a game clinching 85 yard td drive.

Long with a dislocated shoulder and Wake with a hip injury. Fins may be seriously short handed for Thursday. What are the odds of losing your best offensive player, best (maybe 2nd best) defensive player and your 2 QBs all in the same game

reports are that Henne and Pennington out for season. Thigpen is going to be absolutely woeful, we'll see what RRR says when Thigpen does worse than Henne.

Whilst I love any opportunity to bash RRR, Thigpen looked good in limited time yday and was good back with the chiefs. He has a good arm and good mobility, just needs to work on his decision making (wait I seem to recognise this problem)

marshall has never played with a qb as dumb and bad as henne. things will get better now that henne is out permanently.

With everyone going all Oden on us, I really don't know why I expected more. I actually thought we might win. I should've expected being happy with a competitive game.

/Season, start Cobbs at RB, put Marlon Moore and Roberto Wallace on the field, start Thiggy, REST JAKE LONG.

Sigh... As brutal as this loss feels, the optimist in me just isn't ready to give up on the season yet... But a loss next week at Oakland might be just the excuse I need... :/

Jake Long was playing with one arm out there, he seemed to only ever extend with one arm and therefore get beat to his good arm's side by Peppers since he was paranoid or something of Peppers cutting to the inside

Jeff Ireland is a moron. When is he going to stop picking up Dallas rejects. I mean, he cuts donald thomas and jake grove and trades for Pat McQuistan off Dallas. How many ****ing rejects from Dallas can they get? This line can't run block for ****, and that is supposed to be Sparano's specialty. I think I might go down to Saratoga and kick Parcells in the **** for the **** he did to this team.

And Thigpen wasn't very good tonight. I think he should be given one more start. It was probably hard to do anything with that POS Marshall playing tonight, a line that couldn't block for **** and only 3 days to prepare.

is there any reason that the dolphins have thrown the ball more than they've run it this year (369 pa including sacks, 260 total running plays). Is it a result of being down a lot early, or just poor playcalling?

The powers that be think that Henne is actually good. And they cut all their good offensive lineman so they pick up pieces of **** like pat mcqueefer and richie imcompetant.

I never understood the Hene hype from the get go. He was pretty average in Michigan, and the conference was pretty weak at the time. It's pretty rare for a guy to complete less than 60% of his passes in cfb and be successful in the nfl, I think henne and freeman are the only modern guys to do that and get drafted early, and freeman played for a horrible team in a pretty good conference. Overall I think they've grossly underutilized their talents, they are def a top 16 nfl team.

Isn't is college completion % like 59.8, including his frosh and soph years? I think you're nitpicking too much

yes it was something like that lol, but still v unusual for a 2nd round pick to to have that low a %, esp considering he had the goat cfb lt, a decent running game and receiving corps.

Jeff Ireland might be a ****ing ******. The dolphins signed number 83 on the 100 worst nfl players today. Eric Ghiaciuc. Does this front office have any clue what the **** they are doing??

Some "experts" saying Sparano possible replacement for Chilly in Minnesota... 98.3% sure that won't happen.

I don't know about sparano. i mean, he has some game day mistakes but what coach doesn't. The players respect him it seems. Now. Jeff Ireland. This guy is a piece of ****. What the **** has he done? Trade for pat mcquistan, sign eric ghiaciuc. how could any team possible have a rushing attack with those two guys.

I made this post on another board. Where are the idiots who say that the Dolphins team is being built the right way, from the inside out. Oh Really?

Here is the Patriots starting line.
Matt Light #72 OT Drafted2001: 2nd Rnd, 48th by NE
Logan Mankins #70 G Drafted2005: 1st Rnd, 32nd by NE
Dan Koppen #67 C Drafted2003: 5th Rnd, 164th by NE
Stephen Neal #61 G UDFA signed by NE
Sebastian Vollmer #76 OT Drafted2009: 2nd Rnd, 58th by NE

Compared to Miamis awesome Oline.

Jake Long #77 OT Drafted2008: 1st Rnd, 1st by MIA
Richie Incognito #68 G Drafted2005: 3rd Rnd, 81st by STL (cut by 2 teams)
Joe Berger #67 C Drafted2005: 6th Rnd, 207th by CAR (3rd team)
Pat McQuistan #79 OT Drafted2006: 7th Rnd, 211th by DAL (career backup)
Vernon Carey #72 OT Drafted2004: 1st Rnd, 19th by MIA

Wow, look at the jets oline too!
D'Brickashaw Ferguson #60 OT Drafted2006: 1st Rnd, 4th by NYJ
Matt Slauson #68 G Drafted2009: 6th Rnd, 193rd by NYJ
Nick Mangold #74 C Drafted2006: 1st Rnd, 29th by NYJ
Brandon Moore #65 G signed by jets UDFA 2002.
Damien Woody #67 OT Drafted1999: 1st Rnd, 17th by NE
Which is why Jeff Ireland should be canned. There bench doesn't have any good young players either. John jerry is the only one who is young and might be good. Eric Ghiaciuc, lol.

Also, how about this great **** up by ireland. Samson Satele (c) drafted 2nd round in 2007 by miami. Starts 16 games in 2007, 16 games in 2008. Ireland decideds to sign jake grove (c) and trade Satele for a 6th rounder in 2009. (satele also played g). 2010, Ireland cuts Jake grove leaving a huge hole at center. Well done ****face.

Starting to wonder if the ultra hardnosed Parcells approach might not be smart for this team anymore. Maybe it's the humidity?
