The key to laker success is going to be figuring out the right balance of mintues for each player-- and I think we need to not play chris mihm or luke walton or mbenga ever , they are DREADFUL

I think the key is Kobe's health. If he stays on the court WE beat Lebron pretty easily this summer.

like him or not, but walton fills a really valuable role on the laker squad. he's a bigman who passes incredibly well and doesn't demand many shots - whats not to like? he was made for the triangle. yeah, his other skills are weak, but he's a useful role player. plus he can play the 3 or 4.

I'm slighrtly exaggerating, but if you actually watch the games when he plays, as a lakerfan I can assure you we all feel like he's going to do turn it over every time he has the ball.

A friend suggested richard jefferson for odom, assuming salaries work, would be a good trade for the lakers, thoughts?

Assume that even if the salaries didnt match or whatever, that this trade happened-- do the lakers benefit?

Looks like Rad will start, but Phil is being coy.

Lakers have until Friday to sign Bynum.

1. Am I an idiot for not remembering that Pollard was on the Celts last year? Or am I smart in thinking that he was not actually on the team but somehow got a ring?

2. Is that you KidColin?

he was on the team, but succumbed to back and feet injuries early on. That's essentially why we got PJ. I'm somewhat surprised Pollard is still available, fwiw.

And no, it's not me. I can only wish to grow a beard like that. Pretty sure that's the dude from these youtube's. He's a morning show guy or something like that in Boston:

(why is youtube in french all the sudden?)

I'm the guy in my avatar.

ugh phil has to grow the facial hair back - he looks so weird without it. Somehow I think he looks sleazier and less wise now.

Lakers absolutely crushing.

And Dshmed, lol at Jefferson for Odom. Odom is frustrating, but even when he plays to his standard 75% of potential still >> Jefferson.

I hope there are rampant terrorist attacks in Boston. At which point I will mercilessly troll saying things like, "All those parades help ease the fact that you don't know if your family is dead."

I will not feel bad. It will not be a tragedy.

Lakers look good. Bynum moves so well for his size, I love it. Oh and I dont know when Ariza decided to add some range to his offensive game but I hope it continues. So much talent on this team.

And agreed on the facial hair. I was thinking earlier how weird it is to see Phil with no facial hair all of the sudden while Popovich has a beard.

Thremp, I think i finally saw a shred of good in your soul when I read you trashing Boston. Cheers.
