IIRC, rex always defers because he wants to see his defense get started first and I'm ok with him sticking to it (mostly because I can't think of a real good reason to criticize him on it). Also, the defense is what we excel at, so might as well use them to get the team off to a good start and get some momentum going. I also really like getting the ball to start the 2nd half in general with a young QB.

Fire shchotty...a devastating way to end a great run...its heartbreaking it really is...the 1 thing is a lot of the exoerts said even before the year started we r still 1 year away..I hnestly feel awful for l.t. And as much as I hate to say it jason taylor...they both cane to ny n gave us all they had this year...I hope they both come bak next year for one last shot a glory.....fire schotty, seriously he doesn't desrve his job

I almost always agree with Deferring & love getting the ball in teh 2nd half. To me this was one time where I thought getting the ball first had an advantage for the Jets. I think if they were able to get a good drive sustained early, maybe not even points but a few First Downs, it wouldve set hte game up better for them

Well, a ton of next year depends on if/how much sanchize improves, but yea, I see next year as being a worse year, at the very least around sanchize. Also, who knows what the new CBA is going to entail, it will have a big effect on what contracts we give out to FA or if it means trading some of our guys.

**** it, gritty effort in the second half but they had left themselves too much to do.

Frustrating because they left a lot of plays out there over the course of the game - it was possible with better execution and some smarter offensive playcalling in the second half.

Gotta admire Big Rape all the same, two great plays at the end. Sanchez did well I thought. The D Line and Linebackers just weren't as tight as last week, and that's what did for them in the end.

No, they will not get better than this I don't think. This was the chance.

A lot of it depends on getting home games in the playoffs too. Yeah, it's not impossible to get to a Superbowl as the 5th or 6th seed but it's ****ing hard. They gotta win a division.
