i really dont know what to think of sanchez. hes still late on his reads alot and i guess just isnt seeing receivers when they are open. his pocket presence is pretty fantastic though, and i feel confident that he will eventually be a pretty good qb, but right now i still think theres a chance the team is better with brunell

Meh, I don't think it is as much as the Jets are missing Rhodes as it is how absolutely dreadful Leonhard has been. Nobody seems to want to talk about that though since he is Rex's guy.

leonhard never misses a tackle and is the smartest guy on the team. if he was 6'0 instead of 5'8 he'd be considered the second best player on this defense.

He might not miss tackles but he can't cover anyone.

no, hes the free safety so he generally sits in centerfield as they run a lot of cover 1

i made no comment about the rest of the defense. obviously its really really good, but there is a weakness, and they struggle to cover receiving TE's

honestly the jets defense isnt looking as good as it was last year, however i think its good that our offense is clicking as it will b easier to get a defense full of vetarans going good than it would a fairly young star studded offense. so im happy with everying and while some ppl might b worried about the way the jets have been winning im very please because there is no way " the same old jets" would win ne of those three games...excited for texans sunday

i mean there pass defense isn't that good as per DVOA, but that's a large part due to Revis being out most of the time. They are an amazing run stopping team, and the pass offense has looked better as of late

the pass rush just hasnt been as good this year. obviously its still good enough to force opposing qbs to get rid of it very quickly, but it has been extremely rare to see any jet pass rusher beat his man right off the snap

it really all comes back to the offense. they need more from sanchez especially, hes improved this year but it hasnt been as big an improvement as you would hope
