yeah not so sure about that play. going for it was correct imo, but i dont think nesbitt has kept a deep pass down the sidelines inbounds yet this year

great game overall. i really wanted to get to 500 rushing yards at the end

My bet of "whoever the B-back is will get 1000 yards next year" after JD went to the draft is looking good again.

Allen's 195 gives him 525 through 6 games. We were stupid and didn't clarify how bowl games count, but with MTSU and Duke left to come I'm pretty hopeful it won't matter.

Also, despite the stats, the defense played pretty well yesterday.

That garbage time 98 yard drive for a touchdown makes them look bad, but other than that it was really just a few big plays that got us. UVA was only 3/12 on third downs, which is a huge improvement over how we have been playing.

If the D can work on stopping those big plays, we may actually have a decent defense come next year. We'll lose Dominique Reese, Mario Edwards, Robert Hall, Ben Anderson and Anthony Egbuniwe (who I've been really disappointed with this year) but none of those are devastating. Hell, Egbu may lose his snaps to Attaochu before the year's up.

Also, I was amazed at the number of GT fans who were legitimately worried about facing Dwight Dasher last week. I mean, yeah, he's got a ballin ass name, but he plays in one of the worst conferences in D-IA football and has never put up good stats against a BCS conference opponent.

I felt pretty smug and justified after the game when he threw for 0 TDs and 4 picks and had ~2.5 ypc rushing.

our last home game during fall break was the disaster against gardner-webb two years ago, I wasnt worried about dasher specifically but wouldnt have been surprised at an overall letdown performance

Who knows. Line seems fair, VT's putting up points like it's nobody's business lately.

We will beat Duke, should be able to beat Miami, and then the UGA game is going to be two bad teams fighting it out.

This seems like an optimistic statement. Yeah, Ja4ory Harris is out, but looks like they found a decent replacement.

UGA is not as bad as you might think, too.

Initially thought the line was too high, but see now it has dropped a bit to 12. I still think I take GT here.

6-5 (or 7-4) vs 5-6 (or 6-5 (lol beat aub yea right)) is pretty gross. Still expect UGA to be at least a TD fav though

i'd never take gt in a road game unless the team was just LOL bad, like depleted UNC was

Great heart from the guys tonight. If Nesbitt doesn't go down I think it's pretty clear we were the better team.

But now, news is that Nesbitt's played his last game for Georgia Tech after breaking his arm on that interception play. Ridiculous that a guy who runs the ball as much as he does, and takes the hits he does would have his career ended on a freak injury trying to tackle a defender.

You can rip on his passing abilities all you want, but he came in here, learned a system he'd never played before, set the ACC record for rushing yards, and won an ACC championship.

Good luck in whatever it is you end up doing next.
