Yeah, that's ridiculous. Even with McCarthy they won a Superbowl so they could easily do that again this year. They need Matthews and Woodson back on D. Jennings return gives them 4 above avg WRs. Not many D lines are as good as NYG so the O-line should hold up against most teams.

The key to today is getting a multiple TD lead and stopping AP. Ponder sucks and there's no Percy so they won't be able to keep up if Godgers and the WRs are on their game. Stack the box and dare Ponder to beat you because he won't.

My God, he almost missed a 30 yarder. Much better offense today but of course as soon as Jennings gets back Jordy gets hurt again. The quick, no huddle passing game is their best bet with no running game and a suspect o-line. They have the QB and WRs to pull it off.

Might as well have thrown a hailmary, Crosby wasn't making that 53 yarder. If Ed Hochuli's crew is the best regular crew in the NFL I'd hate to see the worst. Defense is awful. Only one guy can beat you and they let him. Offense stagnant again. Run, run, pass, punt when their first two drives were successful because of the quick, no huddle passing game. If they lose this one they're not making the playoffs.

And now Crosby kicked the kickoff OOB! Tell me again why he hasn't been cut already? And there goes AP again! Their one good player!

Going for it on 4th and 7 on the 30, good. He's finally lost faith in Crosby.

The Vikings are the anti-McCarthy, they insist on pass pass pass even with the best RB in the game. Ponder handing us this win. And Hochuli's crew is terrible.

Vikes fan here, just want to say congrats on having a QB. All of Minnesota is jealous of GB, even if most won't admit it.

I hate how lucky the Bears get. 20 seconds left and Seattle lets them go 60 yards for a game tying FG. How they didn't sack Cutler or knock that pass down I don't know.

Not many teams will be great with that many starters out.

How the hell are we top of the NFC North, again, with close to half of our starters out?

That 11 minute drive was ridiculous though. I don't think I've ever seen the Packers have a drive that long before

Because we own the NFC North H2H, we've won like 10-15 straight Div games.

The actual number is ten straight. Wow.

The Bears had an insanely easy first half schedule. They played two respectable teams, Indy the first week and GB the second. We played SEA, HOU and SF in the 1st half and they didn't play any of those teams. Now it's even. Each team has one easier game left on their schedule and 3 division games. If GB wins in Chicago they'll win the division and that's what it comes down to.

Surprised it's only 10. 3 this year, obv 6 last year (15-LOLCHIEFS), then the Bears game in the SB year... no more before that I guess

Game before that was the 7-3 loss to Detroit where Rodgers got injured in the 2nd quarter and left the game.

When Tampa was still in the division, they opened up a 2nd half drive with a 98 yard drive, in Tampa of a 7-0 ball game. It was under Sherman. Don't know if it was 11 mins or not.

This?

Not 7-0, but 98 yards in Tampa under Sherman.

The Packers stitched together 17 plays (12 of them runs), converting three third downs and a fourth down as well. When this 9-minute, 42-second odyssey ended with Ahman Green's 1-yard touchdown run, so did any hope that the Bucs would right their listing ship.

yeah, that's it. I don't know why I thought the game was 7-0 at the time of the drive. That drive was one for the ages. It was awesome.

Crossposting this here - anyone surprised that Godgers' doesn't do well from play action? I hate the PA calls more than the endless running plays.

Not surprising at all because McCarthy does a horrible job of randomizing his playcalling and our running game is terrible.

Except for, you know, that Super Bowl season where the Packers were dead last in rushing by a mile and Rodgers had a 145.3 QB rating with 1074 yards, 12 TD, and 1 INT out of the play action.

Oh yeah, and Rodgers lead the league in TD's from play action last year.

Defenses have adjusted

I also think the receivers are playing worse this year. The drops don't seem as frequent (don't have stats on this), but they seem to be having trouble getting open, which I suppose could be a product of defenses adjusting. The absence of Greg Jennings most of the season certainly hasn't helped.
