Even though I can't even comprehend why we are spending multiple posts critiquing Rodgers.

You guys are basically saying: "herp derp yeah we got throttled in every aspect but why didn't Rodgers just throw the ball up in the air to give us a chance!!"

How about focusing on the guys that put us in a position where we have to just throw the ball up in the air despite nobody being open? Cuz you know Rodgers could have maybe improved our win equity from 1% to 1.5%.

Naw lets spend multiple posts critiquing the goat.

It's not like this is a one time event. Rodgers is very risk adverse even when behind. It should be standard operating procedure for a QB to take more risks when down and Rodgers consistently refuses to do so.

I didn't say you were wrong about that, I'm saying when you are doomed because your team sucked, why are you harping on the the LEAST important problem.

Let's fix why we got down by 3 scores, not harp on aaron for lowering our win expectation by .5% by not playing optimally when down by 3 scores.

Aaron was not part of us being down 3 scores?

Yeah, he definitely was. And it's an easy fix, he just has to force throws more often when appropriate. There is no easy fix for "replacing clay Matthews with a 220 pound linebacker" or "our wide receivers all run 4.8 40s" or "our only TE sucks" or "our obese RB sucks". But it's easy to fix "Aaron Rodgers doesn't throw enough interceptions".

I don't get why he's so hesitant either. His accuracy is ridiculous as we all know. Maybe problems with Olivia?

Ever since he fell out with his "roommate" he's lost his killer instinct. Needs to be true to himself imo

First, lol at saying he was a small problem Sunday night. As bad as the defense was, you'd have to be a fool to ignore the offense's role in being unable to keep them off the field.

And it isn't worth criticizing Rodgers because he had one bad game; no one is doing that. It's worth talking about because it is part of a very distinct pattern, one that stretches back to his earliest seasons.

Keed pretty much nailed it. Rodgers does hold the ball too long at times and that has been a criticism of him ever since he was a starter. I am positive that the coaching staff wasn't happy with Rodgers performance, I am sure Rodgers wasn't happy with his performance. Expect a better performance from the whole team this week. I think the biggest issue on offense is at WR with running game being a close second. Hopefully Starks can get more snaps this week.

So, aside from catching the ball, and running the ball, we are in good shape.

Yes.

Well, unless the opposing offense tries to throw the ball in the middle of the field

Packers S-U-P-E-R-B-O-W-L aspirations. Vikings are 5-2, Packers need to improve to win the division again.

I had Vikings as a wild card team this year actually. But I also picked GB to go 13-3 and beat the Colts in the SB... Lol Colts.

Well considering there's not a better QB in the league, it would seem logical to me that that isn't where we need to improve. But yeah keep blaming Aaron for the offense failures

I don't think posters are blaming him. Just stating that making some adjustments would improve the situation when his supporting cast is less talented than in previous seasons. Do you think the coaching staff ever criticizes Rodgers play in games? I guess criticism has a negative connotation. Rodgers play is critiqued and criticism results from critiqueing his play. Happens for every player.

100% when Packers get down early they are a totally different team, a bad one at that.

Rodgers destroys bad/mediocre defenses and struggles against good ones.

There's always areas that a player can improve. And certainly Rodgers' performance against the Broncos can be improved upon.

Rodgers holds the ball long and takes sacks and in return he almost never throws INTs. I am way happier with a sack over a INT.

You're happier with a sack on 3rd and 13 than an interception thrown past the first down marker? I know Rodgers is happier with the sack, but I'd be much happier with the interception.
