Bears fan showing he has a lot of class, all lower.

What kind of money is James Jones going to be looking for? Think he comes back?

Unlike Jennings, I would expect heavy lobbying by Rodgers and the coaching staff to keep him around. He's too much of a RZ weapon, esp with Jermichael's future up in the air, and replacing that RZ production/dependency would be more expensive than what to expect he demands, IMO.

I think we choose between Jones or Raji. Jones will want a lot of money (not Jennings money) and his market will be a lot greater than it was last time around. Teams should look at recent WR overpays in free agency (Jennings, Wallace) so who knows. Franchise tagging Raji might not be a bad idea? Idk the cap number for DT right now, but he did turn down an offer of 8mm per year earlier this year, so I'd say good riddance beyond that. Sure, we gain Finley's money back, but Rodgers and Matthews contracts kick in as well. I think looking at the Ravens situation is similar in that it shows you can't pay/keep everyone.

I'd pay Jones 3 years 13 million and not a penny more

It's like I've been saying, Aaron Rodgers will not return this season as long as Pat McKenzie is making the medical decisions. If Pat McKenzie won't clear Rodgers then they should fire him and hire someone who will. I think they can beat the Steelers with Flynn but not the Bears. If it's a snow game on Sunday then we'll get Ed Lacy early and often and they should beat Pitt.

Firing doctors because they won't clear someone to play is a really dumb thing to do.

It's a ****ing collarbone. It's not a concussion. It's not a knee. It's not a joint. There is no chance of permanent damage. If Rodgers wants to play, has no pain and understands the risks, he should be able to play.

SK,

Are you a doctor? What if it isn't healing properly? Has Rodgers said he's not in any pain? Maybe he doesn't want to be Charles Rodgers 2.0 minus the tree

I guess Aaron Rodgers = Derek Rose now.

DLose and Rodgers are the opposite situations. Lose was cleared by doctors but didn't want to play. Rodgers wants to play but wasn't cleared by doctors.

well according to Senor, he should just play because it's only a collarbone. F the doctors. Fire them all.

Please beat the Bears

Sitting Rodgers is the right decision. Future is more important. Go Pack Go!

Rodgers has said that he doesn't have anymore pain. McCarthy and Rodgers are clearly frustrated by the organization's decision.

A collarbone injury just can't lead to long-term serious injury. Worst case scenario is he re-breaks it and is totally fine in five months. If he understands the risks and wants to play then ****ing let him play.

Saying it can't lead to something more serious is a bit silly. A bad break can cause problems with lungs and nerves.

If it's a bad enough hit for his collarbone to like puncture his ****ing lung it would break anyway. It's like logically possible to lead to a career-ending injury but it's just extraordinarily unlikely.
