One shouldn't forget that we also need to fire the guys who are responsible on the computer printouts where certain plays get recommended in certain situations. Whenever Brad made a decision based on these charts, it's obvious that it wasn't all his fault. We need to fire and rebuild up the entire Metrics-Nerd-Department starting from zero.

Btw, don't forget that Jeff Jones must also be removed so fast that his cap falls to the ground, because the head is missing to hold it up in the air. He and his analytical staff of course!

The pitching staff is diversified. If 15 pitchers have career worst performances all at once, it's unlikely that it is just variance. They must be doing something wrong and Jones is clearly unable to help them. Avila isn't tipping pitches anymore, so that can't be the reason.

The reason why I would remove Ausmus right now is to give the fans something to cheer about. Taking responsibility and getting paid a ton of money for it comes at the price of public execution in case of failure. It's simply time for heads to start rolling.

We don't need to hire a new manager immediately, just have Lamont or Trammell finish it.

This describes my basic strategy: Just sit there and watch the game!

In 99 out of 100 cases it is the best decision anyways and in that 1 case you only made a very small mistake and even that is not clear.
