I'd call them a more marginal favorite. Too many soft spots on defense, and Rodgers is on absolute fire. Packers hung 30+ points on their last 5 opponents. Jordy or no Jordy this isn't a good matchup for the Cowboys defense (or really any defense). Forget Week 6, it's very unlikely the Packers will wind up with 16 points and a ****ty Rodgers.
Of course I like Cowboys' offense against Packer defenders too.
I mean if we are down 2 TD's then who cares. Zeke is probably going to have to be the one to put the team on his back (before we go down 2 TD's) regardless of who is qb. It's not like Romo is just going to come in and score a TD on every drive which he'll have to do if it's bad enough we need to pull Dak.
Gonna need Irving to go off like he did against TB I think. Rodgers had so much time because he just made someone miss on every play.

I want them to rotate double coverage to Dez so badly. If they do I say it's lights out. Big days for Beaser, Witten, Zeke, maybe roll Dak out on bootlegs to the other side.
The team that beats us in a meaningful game is the team with a corner good enough to go man on man with Dez.

Dez has shown teams that he needs to be double covered?

At times I'd say so! He's done it with Dak a lot this year actually, it's been more Dak not always hitting him. But in situations like these he's been real good, specially second half of the season. Dez's numbers were only lower because we played with a lead so often and just ran the ball.
I'm a Falcons fan, so I guess I'm rooting for Green Bay so we can host the NFC championship game.
I just wanted to warn y'all that I think Dak will struggle tomorrow. The parallels with Young Matt Ryan are eerily similar.
We got the 1 seed I think in Matt's 2nd year, and were rewarded with the red-hot 6 seed Packers coming into our building and beating us in the divisional round.
Dak and Zeke are great, and y'all should be good for a long time. I just think the playoffs have a way of bringing out the worst in a young quarterback, and it takes years of perspective and experience like it did for Matt for a young QB to have playoff success.
Good luck anyway, ought to be a hell of a game no matter what.

Don't see Dak struggling against a pretty poor defense like the Packers. The challenge will be outscoring the Packers offense.
Expect GB to stack the box and try to shut down Zeke/rattle Dak. Really their only chance on that side. Gonna be plenty of 1 on 1 matchups on the outside and GBs corners are dogcrap.
Lots that can be said about the final sequence (spiking it with :48 left was utterly ******ed IMO, that's all I'll say about that) but the bottom line is that our defense wasn't up to the task at all. Need to seriously retool in the offseason.
Eh it was a good game at least, they played to their ability. They're a couple of defensive playmakers short is all. Keeping fingers crossed on a good offseason + maybe getting Jaylon Smith, Tapper, and Gregory on the field to contribute in 2017.
It was a good showing though and a ridiculously strong draft that could keep them competitive for a while, in a season that was really supposed to be over before it started.
Not trying the free kick at the end of the first half proved painful. 72 yards from a tee with no rush seems like a no-brainer to try.
I was wondering about this too. The only downside is that the ball is live if they miss, right? I can't imagine the odds of it getting returned for a TD are more than 2.33x the odds of making it.

Would think if Bailey sends it out of the end zone on a kickoff from roughly the same distance he could do it in this situation.
