At best Janoris Jenkins is 75% the rest of the way...

Yeah Janoris Jenkins being banged up might come into play. Think there's something to say about the Giants already finding some ways make DAK uncomfortable and having some success. Would be a close game again.

They're talking like he's good to go for the 2nd round, but that could be typical Jerry Jones BS. I think he's definitely gonna practice but who knows.

Dec 28- There's good news in the land of the Dallas Cowboys and it involves cornerback Morris Claiborne.

On Wednesday, head coach Jason Garrett took to the mic and announced the Cowboys fully expect Claiborne to be on the field during the NFC Divisional Game. For his part, Claiborne mirrored the sentiment -- sounding every bit like a player chomping at the bit to get back on the field.

“That’s my goal,” Claiborne said of being back for the first playoff game, via ESPN. “That’s what I’m getting myself ready for right now.”

The six-year veteran hasn't played a snap since going down in the Oct. 30 battle with the Philadelphia Eagles, suffering a groin injury that also broke off a portion of his pelvic bone. He went through a full workout two weeks ago, but had "lingering effects" per owner Jerry Jones.

He's not yet returned to practice with the team, but is now operating at full speed in his conditioning and says things are feeling fine.

“We did a lot on [Tuesday] and came back today and responded pretty good and we did a lot more today,” Claiborne said. “So it was two good work days with adding stuff on top of it.

"It’s holding up, feeling pretty good.”

Next year's home/away schedule looks to be a fun one. @ Oak and Denver. Home for GB, Seattle.

Could see La-el Collins back too, he's supposed to be coming around and they can still pull one person from IR. I don't see him displacing Leary to start today but if he can suit up that'd be pretty nice depth. Unless there's a better player that's healthy you might as well. If they go light in free agency next year Ron Leary's basically a free 3rd rd compensatory pick with the deal he's going to get. What a pickup on him.

Still nervous about that d-line being so beat up and thin, what else is new though. At least now they have a strong chance to outrun anybody they match up with.

I think the Dline will be healthy for game 1. They apparently could have played week 17, so 2 more weeks of rest on top should really do it. Plus the Gregory free roll.

I think we can get a 1st for Romo but it'll be in 2018 draft. From my understanding if they do anything with Romo before June 2 then his entire salary counts against us next year. If they wait to move him after June 2 then they can split it up over the next 2 years. So if he's traded after the draft then it will likely be a performance based trade. The better he plays the higher round the pick will be. So if the team he goes to does well we could end up with a 1st but it'll be a late 1, which is ok with me. Obv. if he doesn't do well or gets hurt early then it will likely be a 4 or 5.

Not sure who I'd rather play. Playing Rodgers is always going to be a challenge, and watching Stafford take the 1st 3 possessions to start a game and score TD's kind of scares me. But if the Giants can go into Lambeau field and win plus the fact that they play Dallas well and has already beat them twice doesn't make me feel any better. So to me, best case is Detroit beats Seattle and we play them first round and then more likely the Falcons in championship.

ok so much for the gregory free roll. They decide on him before our next game. Not that it matters much I suppose.

There is no outcome I want in GB vs NYG outside of them beating the CRAP out of each other real bad. OT would be welcome.

Nelson going down doesn't look good for GB. Hopefully they win and Nelson is out with broken ribs.

Might be regretting wanting the Packers. We better run the ball and run it well and keep their offense off the field.

If they're minus Nelson and Montgomery I'll take my chances.

But yeah, we're going to need to score 28. The reason the Pack even put up 30+ is because the Giants can't eat up clock. Since we can, I think 28 pts by us will do it. Less and it's going to be tight.

edit: ayight nvm about Montgomery. He seems healthy.

I don't regret it. Dallas can actually score on the Packers. Hate the Giants

at least Rodgers should be out of hail marys for the next 5 years.

I think this is the better matchup. It will be a tough game and it will mostly be on Dak, I expect Zeke to do what he does. There is a good chance the D gets lit up but this O is more than capable of keeping up or outpacing.

I know we obliterated them last time we played them, but a lot of things went our way. It was one of Dak's top 4 games on the year (TB, BAL, PIT better performances IMO), Zeke's best yardage wise, and our defense got 4 turnovers. This one is going to be tough.

They're all going to be tough, but then again the Cowboys are playing well and reasonably healthy. It's not like they just backed into a 13-win season. They are going to have to catch a few breaks along the way from here but who else can say any different this year? May as well be Dallas

-or-

Aaron Rodgers already has a ring and goes home to pound Olivia Munn, just let us have this please

Hi Guys,

Cowboys has 191 yards on the ground in the earlier game at Lambeau. Zeke is bound to do some damage. Packers CBs have given up some career days to WRs this year. In the Packers two wins against the Giants this year they put 6 players in the box with a 2 high safety look. They were able to give safety help for Beckham on both sides of the field. Giants running attack is terrible. Packers won't get away with 6 in the box in this game. Probably get away with 7 in the box actually.

Jordy has 2 broken ribs so he may not play. So far other WRs have stepped up. Cook has been a positive at TE. Packers have a running back by committee approach. Rodgers has been playing unbelievably well.

Cowboys are the clear favorite here.
