Alex Mack revealed as more crucial to the team's success than anyone even realized.

Yeah but all the genius peanut gallery laughed at browns for awarding him (compliments of the jags) the second highest center salary in the afc north this off-season.

They won and they covered.

No, Weeden and McCoy were bad. Hoyer is somehow finding ways to win even when things don't go perfectly. He's no Manning, but he's no scrub, either.

The loss of Mack is making things exponentially harder. I don't think his importance to the offense can be overstated at this point. Just the difference in the running game is night and day.

Of course every team has to deal with injuries, but losing your center doesn't get the same press as losing your QB. Obviously they have to drive on, but it was as significant an injury as any team has faced this year.

love that the chick comes in and lays it out exactly the way it is...RM and BH though I suppose are more checkers than chess.

all pro center out. all pro TE out. all pro WR out.

waaah the QB isn't putting up stats lolgtfo 5-3 is who we are.

short turnaround for a Thursday night game against cincy, win that and hoo-boy we'll have some actual important games in late nov/dec...

Well put, buffalo.

I'm trying to talk myself into the idea that the Browns will win. Bengals have a bunch of injuries, especially to their lb core, and Leon hall is out. Geno Atkins not yet at full strength from an acl tear. So they will totally be able to run, right?

The left hemisphere knows tho that he's going to crush this guy.

No matter how hard Haden clowns ajg, skrine et co will give up the keys to the city. Anybody heard anything about desir or that troubled guy from the lions? Browns need a no 2 cb.

My gut + brain say browns will lose. Hopeful they're wrong. It'd be sweet...

40 degree temps, 15 MPH winds, 50% of rain. None of this bodes well for our deep threat big play capability, which on paper looks like our only chance to win the game. If the Browns running game doesn't show up tonight then this is going to be a rough game.
This is going to be a rough game...
But f*ck it!!!! Go Browns!!!!!

Andrew Hawkins (thigh/knee) is inactive for Week 10 against the Bengals.

The Browns considered Hawkins a game-time decision, but most reports suggested he'd suit up. More than likely, he would have been able to go against his former team were the game not on a short week. As it is, the Browns will start Miles Austin and Taylor Gabriel at receiver.

Hawkins will obviously be missed. But Gabriel has the potential to step up. His range is still uncapped, and I don't mind him taking a lot of reps.
