So the Ravens coach is absolutely about to start sweating losing his job 2 days before the game. Awesome for the Browns. And I would be amazed if the Vegas line didn't react to this news. Still waiting for Cle +3. Currently at plus 2.

Edit: not to mention the fact that Pierce is listed as questionable with a rookie waiting to take over the no. 2 RB spot. Webb is questionable. And Flacco is sick while their starting CB is recovering from a concussion.

Big underdogs in their first two games, a home underdog today. All three games decided on last second fgs.

Lots of positives (line, kruger, HOYER, gipson) and some negatives (Gilbert thus far(standard though really), late game clock mgmt., cundiff). Even in the saints game the clock management was troubling. Hopefully Shanahan is capable of reflection and growth here. Fun to watch at least. Somehow Not AIDS in general on offense despite their limitations. Gonna take them plus points all year.

Well, various power rankings have us anywhere from 28th to 11th. I have a feeling that we'll jump up in those ratings after our next 4 victories against sh*tty teams. And yet barely losing against two strong teams has the Browns at the bottom of most lists. These popularity contests piss me off so much in there arbitrariness, but I still can't wait for them to come out each week. I'm a sucker...

I understand the sample size is still extremely small, but most of my confidence in the Browns comes from their consistency, whereas many teams looks amazing one week, and then get blown out the following week.

Kinda getting excited for Sunday after seeing tonight's game. I'm surprised Vegas has us listed as +2. I really don't see this week's matchup being anywhere near competitive. Prediction: Browns win by 14.

Yo buffalo,

Wiper, rendle, riverman, Tom Collins and a few others have basically carried this thread for years. I know you're new and excited.

I was shocked the defense played so poorly the first half. Go Browns! So weird after years of blown leads to be second half MONSTERS.

By my reckoning we're out scoring opponents 67-30 in the 2nd half this season. Hoyer looks great and is obviously not the problem. Defense sincerely looks awful. They don't even seem to turn it on until we're down 14+ points. We had a couple catchable balls dropped this game and some ugly routes run. I thought bye weeks were the time to work on this stuff but apparently the Browns needed to knock the rust off this week. Thank god for the easy (maybe minus TB) next three games. Hopefully we are running a lil smoother by then, and hopefully Cinn gets beat by NE tonight.

I've got a bad feeling about this game... Our DL has so much depth, but with our mounting injuries I'm concerned about Bell having a monster game tomorrow. If this game isn't a shoot out, we're in trouble IMHO.
