Anyone else worried about BIG BORT and the TRAP GAME?

Last edited by 000000; 10-17-2014 at 03:02 PM. Reason: its novel as a browns supporter to worry about a trap game, so i'm relishing it

Feels like the Barkevious Boomswitch we've all been waiting to be activated needs to this week versus the Jags awful line, particularly Luke Joeckel (and Zane Beadles) on the left side. They'll both get their shots...I'm predicting 3 sacks for Mingo and 2.5 for Kruger.

I'm worried about them finding a dumb way to lose 1 (or more) of these next 3 games.

If there's one thing Cleveland fans know, it's how fast your good team can break your heart.

In multiple sports, but only in football do those gut punch games have names - The Drive, The Fumble.

We enjoy having a good team, but for those of us old enough to recall all the heartbreak, we also get a bit nervous about when the other shoe will drop.

At least I do. Right now I'm just basking in being hopeful of having a non-crummy team.
If we lost the AFC Championship game in a heartbreaking way, I'd be ecstatic.

Gonna suck when we get to 6-2 because of the weak ass schedule, then face reality. Calling 9-7 or 8-8. Still glad to have this team. Lebron saves the day.

Too bad the Colts have Luck, otherwise we could trade rape them again.

I'm just gonna get it out of the way and point out that last year we were also 3-2 (beat the bills to get there, but HOYA blew his knee up) and the rest of the season more closely resembled our browns.

call me "crazy white boy" (happened last night lol), but I think we win a 23-20 type game here.

I dunno about 3-0 through the next 3, but even 2-1 puts them at 5-3 and then the Calvary is just about back.

big game today, huge difference mentally between 3-3 and 4-2. gotta put Blake on the ground. biggest bet last week (2 maxes on bovada's lol limits) was BB over passing yards, he can put up numbers for sure..

Apparently the seahawks tried to swindle browns out of jordan cameron for harvin.

Solid work resisting there, Mr. Farmer.

idk if it would have been awful if they gave a hypothetical conditional 6th rounder tho.

It's a devastating lose. But it's just one game. And the first poorly coached and poorly QBed game of the season. I expected us to come out of these next three games with a 2-1 record. As much as today sucks, so long as we win the next two games we're still on pace to be competitive when Gordon comes home.
It's just one game.

against a ****ing team that hadn't won yet.

you say whatever your buffalo senses tell you, but that's pathetic and absolutely a reason to assume more mediocrity until proven differently.

I sort of assumed we'd win one of these three games as well, just because it's the Browns.

Maybe this was a good thing. Maybe it was a wake up for the players that they need to work their ass off for every win, rather than look past any opponent, no matter how bad.

Or maybe we are still pretty mediocre. Time will tell.

Of any of the games in this stretch to lose, this was the best one to lose, hopefully they come out motivated and with more of a sense of urgency....and the coach doesnt go for it on 4th an 1 from the 25, the less doing of that will also help

Absolutely. But once you give up hope the games become rather inconsequential/boring. I'm a fan. Rooting for 3 quick TDs sandwiched between 2 successful onside kicks during the last minutes of the 4th quarter is the norm.

Speaking of nonlogical hopefulness, it looks like we should be pulling for a Cin win over Balt this Sunday for a better chance at winning the division. And a Balt win if we're going for a wildcard spot.
👑 Go Cin...

I took the Browns in my survivor pool this week. As if playing a winless team wasn't already stressful enough.
