When you buy tickets and merchandise and support a team that is run by ******s, you get what you deserve.
exactly.

but someone will buy the tickets. might as well make a point.

i really hope that gets advertised or somehow the word gets out on a large scale outside the stadium before the game.

last thing on DA: 42% completion percentage, 4.4 YPA, 2 TD/9 INT.....get ready....36.2 QB RATING.

you mean to tell me the guy behind him is worse? the guy we TRADED UP FOR TO GET?

nope. he's not worse. he could be paid more.

the team stinking i can do.

the constant losing i've gotten used to.

trading away our 'good' players for mangini's pets, okay, whatever.

but PURPOSELY NOT PUTTING THE BEST PLAYERS OUT THERE?

Not if everyone wises up and stops supporting a horse**** ownership group. There's no reason that you have to buy tickets just because a bunch of idiot Browns fans will support the team.

I sure as **** wouldn't. I'm not a Browns fan (and never was) but FFS people need to wise up and stop supporting a bunch of morons.

i don't, and won't.

just like i didn't go to Indians games (save one or two because i'm still just a little sucker) nearly as much when they announced that they'll 'spend money when the time is right', but then didn't.

i've been to one that i'm sure of (took a 7 year old to his first game, and threw peanut shells all over the place: 'don't worry A, they make the players who play bad come out and sweep 'em all up'), and maybe one more in the last 2 years.

and that really has nothing to do with them being ****ty, as i still watched 90% of the games on tv, even when it was obvious what was going on. it has everything to do with the fact that if the owners don't want to spend a couple million on an extension for a guy that throws one of the best WS games in years, i don't want to spend $20 to even sit in the bleachers.

**** it, i'm taking a shower and laying in bed and gonna try to finish 'the stand'...and now i'm rooting for the dark man in Vegas to ****ing skull**** the losers in Boulder.

one of the most unintentionally funny columns i've ever read in a newspaper was a washington post column that involved the columnist going around fedex field interviewing fans after their loss to kc and all the fans saying "oh i hate dan snyder so much" and starting "fire snyder" chants and **** but never once did anyone suggest not going to the ****ing games. it blew my mind.

its especially sad and a bit funny how perfectly the browns lions and bills organizations are reflections of their depressed, dying cities

I'm a Blackhawks fan and I would go to Hawks games even though they were terrible and Bill Wirtz was ranked the 2nd worst owner in sports (I think the Cleveland owner might have been 1 in the same poll). The reason why is because I enjoyed watching the games, even though they sucked. It's not a coincidence that the Hawks became a hot ticket immediately after he died.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if the ownership tilts you so much that you don't enjoy the games, don't go. Otherwise, keep going.

bolded for, well, because i bolded it.

did the blackhawks sit a better player on the bench for a guy that was literally HISTORICALLY bad, just so they didn't have to pay him?

No. Wirtz's biggest offense was his refusal to put home games on TV because he thought he would sell more tickets.

i'd reallyreally appreciate it if we could get aggressive on defense. stand up to baltimore and pittsburgh..
heh...bolded, italicized AND UNDERLINED.

not laughing at ryan, i actually like him. he can't help the offense being what it is.

Ryan getting into it with Cutler was easily the highlight of the season.

Is Brady even really better? It seemed like they were both horrible, might as well save some dough.

But there are definitely deep problems, and its a shame that Cleveland is stuck with such crappy owners.

quinn was bad but significantly better than anderson. also he might actually get better whereas anderson will not.

Anderson seems to be getting worse every week, I say see how far he falls. I always get a little giddy my first time checking in on the Browns box score, just to see how bad it is this week.

funny how Quinn got back in right at the point where he probably won't be able to take 70 percent of the snaps and get to his excalator clause. basically manginni probably cant say too much on the QB situation cause than Quinn probably has something of a greivance when he does not get his 11 mil, but quinn will be the QB again next game.

I actually agree with this 100%. We're on the verge of making history here. Let's not **** it up.

Kokinis fired/resigned...omg

didn't mangini hand pick him?

See? Thought I could go to sleep and it'd get better..

i don't really know where the Browns go from here.

in fairness to the ManKok regime they traded off their best playmakers (Edwards and Winslow) to build for the future. so you would have to wait a few years to see who they would draft.

however, if they want to start over, they are so close to the bottom it probably would not be a big setback to bring in a new coach now.

When they hire the next GM they will have three on the payroll, and two head coaches. Awesome organization.

reports are Kokinas was fired for cause (which means he would not get paid - who knows, reportedly Manginni traded Edwards without telling Kokinas). Bernie Kosar is reportedly going to eventually be the new GM and i cannot see him and Manginni getting along. Hence, probably 3 coaches on the payroll also.
