Feels good. 6-3 minus Gordon would feel incredible regardless of lol sample size or lol schedule.

I just realized I'm an emotional hedge nit.

It's all about seeing the (betting) win for me. I find I can't really bet on teams I dislike versus the browns.

Hope bad Andy stays bad. Didn't he throw two picks including a pick six to Haden last year early before they went on to rout the browns?

those aren't emotional hedges.

2/4 of my biggest bets ever (#2 and #4) were on ohio state when they were playing michigan. won both, the winnings meant nothing.

balancing between the sting of monetary loss without affecting the glory of victory, and not winning enough money to make a loss okay is a delicate psychological computation. lol

for $5, I bought this win.

Wait, who is better than Gordon? Thomas?

And don't forget without Hawkins, who has been doing work.

HOU 25th in run DVOA. Bengals were 32nd. 13% better tho.

It'll no doubt be interesting to see how the current line fares versus WATT.

Hoping MALLETT doesn't go all Hoyer and be another good Tom backup bb let go for ~nothing, at least in this game.

Legit Browns warms the depths of my soul and also terrify me. I can't trust it and don't know when I'll be able to. I haven't been able to trust a Browns team since 1989.

Let it go RJ...
Trusting a NFL team (to win on any given Sunday) is a recipe for disaster. And that shouldn't be the goal. Just be a fan and enjoy the ride. If you can't let yourself go and totally enjoy this moment in a potentially historic Browns turnaround of an epic downswing, then what will you enjoy?

We've already won as many games as most "experts" thought we'd win all season. We could lose out the season and it would still be progress. I now have unconditional trust in Pettine and Farmers' decision-making abilities. Sure, there's still gonna be plenty of ups and downs. But the fact remains that we're improving, which is the most important aspect of the current Brown's organization to focus on. I, for one, welcome our new AFCN overlords.

Oh I'm enjoying it immensely.

I just won't trust it's real, in the sense that the Browns are not temporarily good, but have turned a corner into no longer being in the dregs of the NFL, until this goes on for more time.

I've enjoyed every win. If anything, I may enjoy them more because they seem so unexpected. I thought they'd show improvement this year, but I wasn't expecting this, and good surprises from the Browns have been in short supply for the last two decades. I feel like a kid at Christmas who discovered the aunt that always sends socks and underwear decided this year to send the coolest gift imaginable.

Part of me worries that the next gift will be more socks and underwear, but maybe that just makes me appreciate the cool gift all the more.

After self-evaluating strengths of schedule, I'm pretty certain that the Browns don't have a realistic chance of winning the division. Unless Pit or Bal fall apart during the second half of the season. Cinn looks pretty screwed, plus they truly aren't that good. I think the most depressing part of the season may be that we win 10-11 game and miss the wildcard.

No chance in hell 11 wins misses the wildcard. Has that ever happened? Looks like 2008 with the Patriots. And the lol 8-8 Chargers won the division.

Ok. 11 wins is a stretch. But 10 seems more realistic.

10 wins almost always gets you in as well, though its more possible not.

2-2 out of the remaining road games is probably about average of what to expect, then winning 2 of the 3 remaining home games is the challenge.

I think we are looking at 9-7 most often, with 10-6 next most likely, followed by 8-8.

I don't think you're weighting your predictions heavily enough to account for Gordon coming back.
