I'm sad Conte will not get cut because he is so cheap.

Alshon broke the Bears record for receiving yards twice in 4 games with Josh.
He could play for 100 years with Cutler and not get it.

At least his old excuse "he only throws to Marshall because we have no other receivers" is proved false. It might as well just be him and his BFF on the field.

Even Cutler fan boys would have to admit McCown would have led a better offense production today (and that's not even counting the dumb picks on forced throws to his his buddy).

Offense just runs smoother with mccown. I don't care how old he is, I would stick with him for a couple years, save a ton of money by letting jay walk. Sorry cutler, looks like ur jeff george 2.0

Cutler threw Alshon's first 200 iirc, Cutler burns TOs and it does seem much slower getting plays in. Much better chance with McCown v the Eagles.

I don't envy our position moving forward at all. Happy with the win but I have no clue what to think anymore. That game was a mess.

I have this weird feeling the last game vs the pacs is going to determine who gets into post season.

And yeah lol cowboys

good news for bears fans - if cowboys win vs skins in the day game, the eagles' game vs the bears on snf means nearly nothing for the eagles, they would have to win vs cowboys in week 17 to get in

Tonight's huge, ldo. Go Ravens.

Just have the sickest feeling the Pack are going to bink* the division now. I've gotta assume if Rodgers is good to go again, they've abandoned any thoughts of shutting him down for the season; they have a ton of equity again.

*I say "bink" despite the understanding that if Rodgers never got hurt, they're probably not in this position right now, yet here we are.

I agree offense looks so much smoother with Mccown, I think he would give this team the best chance to win. I don't trust Cutler, hes not that accurate, and capable of just being bad at any time and throwing multiple picks. He single handily was losing that game for us in the first half. Yea I guess the excuse this week is he was rusty lol.

Anyway lets go Ravens.

Really not a "this week" thing. Not isolating CMP%, Cutler's success rates are usually low

What I can't figure out is how McCown all of a sudden turned into God. I don't think I'm being a homer in saying he's looked fantastic through his 7 weeks...a couple mental hiccups vs. Minnesota notwithstanding.

Where did that come from? Surely I couldn't be the only fan who thought the season was done when Cutler went down in Washington? What he's done is beyond improbable.

I'm well aware of the background; I don't feel like derailing this thread again for giving plaudits to Trestman and being told he's a moron.

Still, even with a great QB mentor, this is an insane run above expectation...right? I mean, this simply shouldn't have happened, even with the playmakers at his disposal. Or am I off?
