so why not say that? zach grienke was/is a 'headcase'(along wit a ton of other legit whackjobs led by elijah dukes), clay B had a somewhat normal first 200 innings of MLB pitching for prospect of his level. meh, prolly underperformed some but hes not rick ankiel

and before anybody comes in and craps on me, i'm well aware the 7-2 stretch the sox has had is far from impressive. not great opponents, barely winning games, yada yada. i get all that.

You can certainly beat them more impressively though. They're squeaking games out, which isn't an indicator of clutchness, but more that they've been on the lucky end of some games where they were relatively evenly matched with their opponent. It's great, since they've played like crap, and it's much better to run good than it is to run bad, but they likely won't win 67% of their 1-run games, and if they don't start beating teams by a larger margin soon, their record will plummet again.

Trade the farm including Lars for Adrian Gonzalez

Give Lars shot at 1B/DH somepoint mid the season?
