yeah hitting has been bad. living and dying by the long ball. we dont draw walks, dont steal bases. but, we got some pop in the lineup.

the positive is markakis, dlee, vlad, aj all arent off to great starts and we are just about .500. so these guys hit like they should i think we do very good this yr.

o's have scored 4 runs in guthrie's last 3 starts. ouch. we are k'ing like the 2010 d'backs.

wednesdays win: gregg had some really awesome stuff. he's way too inconsistent imo but when he's on he can be very good. not sure why he's so hot/cold though. he doesnt seem like the kind of guy to get too rattled at all. i guess his mechanics suck and/or his delivery/release pt is inconsistent. i havent seen him enough to confirm. anyone thats seen him pitch at least a few times have an opinion?

also they cant use gonzalez in close games anymore. he has sucked hardcore. stick with johnson, berken, koji, gregg.

Big win tonight. Guthrie pitched a gem. We almost blew this game, but Vladdy Daddy came through!

Correct call against Markakis at home. Bard made a great play and put his foot where Markakis was going to tag and prevented him from getting to the plate.

yeah gonzalez shouldnt be pitching in any meaningful innings. but the only other lefty is clay repada and buck clearly has little confidence in him, so his hands are a bit tied. plus buck has decided not to pitch koji back-to-back games. after he gave up the single to ortiz and they pinch hit for drew with cameron buck should have had berken in the game.

he has only pitched 3 times in the last 2 weeks - he HAS to pitch sometimes otherwise he shouldnt be on the roster. but yeah scored upon in 6 out of 7 games is lolbad.

5 out of 6, lets complete sweep today. and lets get guts a win - he has to have just about the worse run support in baseball last yr + this season so far.

vladdy: 0 walks in 108 at bats.....really?
dlee: 4 rbis in 26 games (and i think he's hit 3rd every game). maybe drop him in the lineup, buck?

pitching has carried us so far - 13-13 without much from reynolds, dlee, markakis. if these guys pick it up......
