It'll be interesting to see if they'll pay him.

His deal runs through next season, and we usually extend guys they want to keep in that offseason.

I'm generally in the camp of "if he can play, then keep him, if not, cut him." But top 5-10 CB money is like 13-14M per. Trufant's good, but because he's so small he's not a shutdown lockdown kind of guy like Sherman, Peterson, Talib, or Revis when he was young.

Yeah, all they do is check down, field goal, and defend their way to wins every week.

Justin Houston vs. the recently (and rightfully) extended Ryan Schraeder will be a key matchup to watch.

Fortunately after KC all our remaining opponents are under .500, so hopefully we can finish strong.

I really don't want Week 17 vs New Orleans to matter for the division

Should win those two but you kno we're good for at least a sweat in one. Bucs coming on strong, figured they'd fall off and we'd cruise even have room to 9-7 maybe even 8-8 the division win because it's that bad. 9-7 might still get it done but no reason we shouldn't get to 10 wins.

This kind of win over LA was just what we needed after that tough KC loss.

Vic Beasley and Taylor Gabriel are officially awesome

Newly paid Robert Alford had a defensive holding that negated a sack. He's been better lately, but I really wonder about the timing, that they decided to pay him right after Trufant goes down.

I mean, yeah Alford is better than a CB off the scrap heap or waiting to develop a young guy... I just hope they don't let Trufant walk after next year.

Dimitroff (with Quinn's input, no doubt) finally got some hits on the defensive side of the ball in the middle rounds... they're fast and they're all contributing
