Hale has made a few bonehead moves tonight. Leaving Perez in to face a righty was one of them.

Sigh, so frustrating. Hopefully I'll get to sweat a potential 7 game win streak still tomorrow!

We need some pitching help. Badly. The offense is fine, but my god we have to quit giving up these leads late in the game.

I thought Hudson could be the answer, but he isn't. Then I thought Burgos could be the answer, and he still could be, but not yet. Give Jake Barrett a chance!

Also, Burgos could be the longest tenured player in the Dbacks system. He was supposedly signed sometime in 2007 when he was like 16 or 17. But who knows, he could be 30 right now instead of the 24 that is claimed.

I just checked Hudson, and he was drafted by the White Sox in 2008, so he can't be. Obviously Montero was before he was traded. And Tuffy hasn't been in our minor league system too long (think he was originally drafted by the Phillies). So unless there is a career minor leaguer I don't know about, Burgos could be the longest standing Dback player including minor leagues.

Depending on the date of Burgos' signing, could be Collmenter. He was drafted in 2007.

The kids were pretty excited about taking the field with the players.





They also got a bit of airtime on the tv broadcast during the national anthem. The older one got about 15 seconds of close up face time later on in the game....during the bottom of the 6th I think.

Yep, Cardinals are good but this is undoing all the progress we made last week.

Gotta be about time to send him back to the pen and either put Delgado or Nuno back in the rotation, or give one of young guys in the minors a shot.

Not watching so couldn't tell how bad Tuffy's injury is. If it's enough to cause him to miss time do we get Salty or O'Brien? Haven't seen anything about how Salty has been doing, but I know O'Brien has been raking.

We don't need someone who can rake, we need someone who won't allow a ton of steals and pass balls.

Cardinals are sloppy tonight, hopefully we can hold on.

Tuffy out for the year. Bummer.

And now for everyone saying how crappy Tuffy was, we will now probably miss him.

We'll definitely miss him. I was on team Tuffy. What he lacked offensively he made up for with sick defense.
