New Mondogoal scoring system seems weird. 5 points for a foul (+5 winning a foul/-5 for committing) and only 7 for a goal? Gonna have to avoid high fouling teams (e.g West Ham) like the plague.

I think you have read it wrong mate.

Fouls Committed -0.5

It still seems odd to me that there is points at all for winning/losing fouls.

I'm new to MG as well, seems quite similar to the traditional FPL scoring system?

It was bigger last year the reduction is good, and also increasing defenders points for interceptions. Won't change too much but will make defenders a little less reliant on shutouts.

Duck I wasn't able to find any info in this thread so maybe u would know. I live in Germany and it seems like its not allowed to play on DK or mondo from there. Do you have any info or does it even matter really? Thanks

Has the late swap been implemented into Mondogoal?

Personally I'm hoping not, I'd rather do my research then set the lineup and enjoy the rest of Saturday as opposed to having to check every lineup as they are announced.

I'd tend to agree with Bouncy ball that that's a good thing. Can't be easy to attract casual players to the game if they need to be tinkering with their team all weekend. Even as someone who might become a serious player, I think I'd struggle to keep on top of all my lineups all weekend.

it's just not plausible.
some teams have so much flexibility their starting 11 is just not set.
and the players that are in question may have big value as much as the others.
late swap is a good thing.

In a vacuum late swap is better.

No late swap can be an edge especially in cash because too many players take unnecessary roster risks. Having a player not start or play is pretty suicidal, so I wrecked people consistently by making safer picks.

For how soccer is and how technology is casuals can and will use mobile app to make swaps. If they don't then they didn't care anyway so whatever.

Some people work or have hobbies that mean they don't have access to their phone at the needed times. It would certainly put me off if I had to be checking team lineups before every kickoff. Sometimes that would be 7 or 8 different times over the weekend!

there's never going to be big multi day slates, not even a worry

only one that works is CL since both start times are at the same time each day and it starts at like 2pm est instead of morning like epl

Thought I'd share 1 lineup i have for Saturday. because why not, I'm an NBA dfs player anyhow. These suppose to go into 50\50s. Feel free to say nice things\say I'm a fish. Almost no preparation was involved in making this one.
