12-team league. No PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 RB/WR and 1 OP (any offensive player, including QBs). 1 point for 10 yards rushing/receiving and 25 yards passing. 6 points for all TDs and bonuses for long TD plays.

QB/OP (play 2): Big Ben, Vick, McNabb, Kolb
RB: Gore, MJD, DWill, JStew, Goodson
WR: Smith (NYG), Dez, Holmes, VJax, Burleson
TE: Davis
K: Vinatieri
D: 49ers

Thinking of offering this trade to a guy whose only QB is Palmer. I SEND McNabb and I RECEIVE Randy Moss. McNabb is just a bench player for me but could start on his team. With Steve Smith out a couple of weeks, I need another WR. I'm 7-3 ad he's 8-2 so playoff implications matter. Also, Titans next 5 games: Was, @ Hou, Jac, Ind, Hou...that's a pretty great schedule for a WR.

His team:

QB Carson Palmer, Cin QB P
RB LaDainian Tomlinson, NYJ RB
RB Darren McFadden, Oak RB
RB/WR Hakeem Nicks, NYG WR
WR Randy Moss, Ten WR
WR Terrell Owens, Cin WR
TE Jacob Tamme, Ind TE Q
OP Steve Johnson, Buf WR
D/ST Steelers D/ST, Pit D/ST
K Neil Rackers, Hou K
Bench Brandon Marshall, Mia WR
Bench Michael Bush, Oak RB
Bench Benjamin Watson, Cle TE
Bench Dustin Keller, NYJ TE
Bench Steve Breaston, Ari WR
Bench Derrick Ward, Hou RB
Bench Colt McCoy, Cle QB
IR Dallas Clark*, Ind TE

Thoughts? Maybe target a different WR?

Also thinking of offering DWill to another guy for Nate Washington. Thoughts on that?

^^^ Same team as above. I was offered Percy Harvin and either Branch or Tate for McNabb?

Thoughts? I kinda like it tbh.

I just got this offer:

Mike Wallace and Hines Ward

for

Santonio Holmes and Steve Johnson

I already have Roddy White and Megatron as my two starters. What do you think?

Snap. Wallace is a beast. Unless you are giving Wallace. Then unsnap, as the case may be.

I need some help at RB as I have Rice, Mathews, Best, and Blount. I'm thinking of offering Wallace for Turner. My other WR's are djax, Marshall, and M. Williams (TB). Yay or nay?

Question about vetoing a trade. The guy that's 1-8 is giving Turner in exchange for Bradford and Lynch (the guy sending Bradford and Lynch is 5-5 and def in the playoff hunt). I don't know either of these guys as it's my friend's league. I am a veto hater, but that just seems fishy to me.

whats the league format? are QBs worth a lot? is the guy getting bradford desperate? in normal scoring league definitely veto...

We start an OP spot for any offensive player, including QBs. So he can start Bradford there. But still, Bradford and Lynch for Turner? Just reeks of "let me give you my scrubs for your studs since you're out of the race now" to me. I really think vetos should be used as minimally as possible, but it just looks like he's dropping players.

Seperate Q: I have NYG Smith and am thinking of offering Harvin to the guy that has Manningham. Is that crazy? His receivers are Lloyd, AJ, Williams TB and Manningham (we start up to 3) He would get Harvin for the rest of the way, which I think is good for him since he would get somebody he could use through the playoffs (Smith will likely back and Manningham would be useless) and I could start either Manningham/Smith depending on who plays.

My other plan was to offer Smith and Harvin for Mike Williams TB, who has an awesome playoff schedule. Thoughts on this?

i am mulling over a trade where my relevant players go from

jahvid best
hakeem nicks
to
frank gore
crabtree

its standard scoring, i really like gores shedule and workload but nicks could be considered the top wr going forward.

I get: Vick
I give: Gore+Matt Ryan

My team:

QB: Matt Ryan, Mark Sanchez
WR: Calvin Johnson, Roddy White, Nicks, Mike Williams, Mike Williams, Collie
RB: Gore, Bradshaw, Mccoy, Blount, Best, Greene, Tolbert

8 person league, no PPR, 3 WR and 2 flex

If it matters, I am a lock to make the playoffs already.

Currently sitting in 7th place, my WR situation isn't the greatest and I think I need to fix this to make the playoffs. I have mediocre RBs and Rape / Vick as trade fodder. First, where do you think I should trim the fat? Mediocre RB for a middling WR or try to make a big splash with Vick / Hillis?

Start QB, 3WR, 2RB, TE, K, D
QB: Vick, Roethlisberger
RB: Ray Rice, Peyton Hillis, Pierre Thomas, Brandon Jackson, Beanie Wells, Marshawn Lynch
WR: Randy Moss, Larry Fitzgerald, Braylon Edwards, Driver, Mike Thomas (just added off FA)
TE: Dustin Keller

So far I've been told I probably have my choice of Santonio Holmes, Mike Williams (TB), Malcolm Floyd for Brandon Jackson

Who do I want out of this group? I really need a win next week so take that into account

I have also been offered (not officially so guy will probably back):
I give Vick, Brandon Jackson, Braylon
I get Brandon LLoyd, Maclin, DeAngelo Williams (obv an autocut now)

You are way to weak at RB to make this trade and your WRs are fine.

I'd instantly trade away Jackson with your RBs and I'd go for Mike Williams TB. He's probably the most underrated WR right now. His matchup this week is mediocre (Holmes is playing lol Houston this week), but he's easily the best WR of the 3 imo ... and he has good playoff matchups iirc.

That last trade where you give Vick is just ******ed. Don't do it.

7-3 and thinking playoffs with trade deadline next Wednesday.

QB/OP (play 2): Vick*, Big Ben*, Kolb
RB: Gore*, MJD*
WR: Dez*, Harvin*, Holmes*, VJax, NYG Smith, Burleson
TE: Davis*
K: Vinatieri*
D: Dolphins*, 49ers

Thinking of offering Harvin and NYG Smith for Mike Williams (TB). The guy with Williams has the following receivers: AJ, Lloyd, Williams (TB), Manningham, and Gaffney. Giving him Smith would give him combo of Manningham/Smith for the rest of the way and obv he gets Harvin, too.

Mike Williams playoff schedule (weeks 14/15) are @Was and v.Det. I know it leaves me thin, but I'm trying to condense my team now that byes are done.

Also, I sent out a trade offer where i send Big Ben and receive Freeman and Moreno. Freeman obv has the same playoff schedule whereas Big Ben plays Cinci and NYJ those weeks. Plus I need a 3rd back for insurance purposes and Moreno's schedule those weeks is @Ari and @ Oak.

Thoughts?

do you realize that its impossible to evaluate without knowing how many players you start at those positions?

i pulled off a trade and didnt have to give up nicks or bryant.

12 team standard 2rb/wr and a flex

i get michael turner and snelling for jahvid best, crabtree, moss and freeman.

lineup is now
matt ryan
charles
sjax
turner
nicks
bryant

have no wr or qb on my bench so im in trouble if injury occurs. seems worth the risk as my team is in contention but 2 other teams may be better.

Victor, that's a good trade. This is def the time to be consolidating for studs. Turner also has a dream playoff schedule.

fds, if you think mike williams is better option than harvin then go head and do that trade. id imagine its close either way. im kinda partial to harvin but he is in a much more tenuous situation with his injuries and team imploding. ya, i guess tbmike is preferable esp with the playoff sched. i just like harvin bc hes fun to watch.
