Thx for any and all opinions..
Cincy isn't all that great a match up, either. They've been using bracket coverage a lot, and only Andre Johnson has had any success through it. I guess Hester might draw that instead of Knox, or they might not give anyone in the Bears' passing game enough respect to use it, but no one should be salivating over Cincy match ups like they do for Cleveland or St. Louis match ups. I go Rice.

Pick two RB's, two WR's and a flex. I have 7 guys ESPN projects to have between 13-16 points at RB and WR.

Thomas Jones @ OAK
Cedric Benson CHI
LaDainian Tomlinson @ KC
Ricky Williams NO

Wes Welker @ TB
Steve Smith (NYG) ARI
Vincent Jackson @ KC
Santonio Holmes MIN

I genuinely have no idea which 2 of my top 3 WR to play. How can any of them be a sit? Except that I have 3 RBs who also look like must starts (top 3).

In general, I'm thinking of sitting Holmes and Ricky, but have no clue who should be the last man cut here. I have six guys to start and their projected points are all clustered with 2 of each other. HALP.

I've been going back and forth on this all week. Pick one:

Donald Brown @ STL
Leon Washington @ OAK
Tashard Choice vs. ATL

I should note that I'm already starting Addai. Standard scoring, no PPR.

if LT looks iffy to play, start Smith obviously. Arizona is top against the run so I would expect Eli to gunsling it. you could take Smith over VJax as that is, but I think VJax is better and has the better QB throwing to him. I'm waiting for the game where SD puts up 50 points and decides all fantasy matchups.

I agree on Ricky and Holmes. For the third guy to sit I'd go with Smith. With Nicks, Hixon, and Boss all healthy again Eli has been spreading the ball around more.

Anthony Gonzalez is still out so I'd go with Garcon, especially against the Rams. Williams is coming off an injury and didn't so much before he got hurt. Henry's been pretty much an afterthough in the Bengals offense so far. One of these weeks he'll snag a 70 yd TD but you don't know when that will be.

EDIT: Didn't see you need two. In that case I'd go with Williams over Henry for the second spot.

gotta figure he's going to have a 100 yard, 2 TD game at some point. Buffalo seems ripe.

this. im a panther fan and that makes it harder to bench as well. plus he just came out and said gimme the damn ball or im not an asset to this team. i feel like collie is a guarantee 7-12 pts (maybe more) but smith could get 1 or 21 for all i know. im gonna ride the smitty train a little longer until i cant take it anymore.

haha fwiw i traded cadillac williams for smith back before week 2.

sorry another question -
on a team i have deangelo williams, clinton portis, and jonathan stewart. i currently have portis over stewart for 2nd rb.
thoughts on Portis vs Stewart (factor in also having Williams?)

You're bordering on a world of hurt here. Roto was just reporting that Phillips is considering holding Williams out another week, and Henry too is now a game time decision due to illness. Garcon is an ldo start in this crew, but you might go waiver-wire hunting for a replacement for Henry to have in case Williams doesn't start. Henry isn't that good anyway.

Pick One:

McNabb @Was
Eli Manning VS Ari

I tend to lean towards McNabb mostly because in general he is better, and his game is Monday Night, and I like having players playing on MNF when my opponent doesnt have any =P

ESPN 10-team Standard Scoring H2H (No Points per Reception)

Running Backs (Pick 3)
Adrian Peterson @ PIT
Ronnie Brown vs NO
Larry Johnson vs SD
Pierre Thomas @ MIA
Laurence Maroney @ TB

Wide Receivers (Pick 1)
DeSean Jackson @ WAS
Santana Moss vs PHI
Steve Breaston @ NYG
Mohamed Massaquoi vs GB

My thoughts: I'm almost definitely starting AP and Ronnie Brown at RB and am struggling towards deciding between Pierre/Maroney/LJ. LJ has an excellent matchup and looked good last week, but I am starting Cassel/Bowe, so this makes him a little less appealing. Maroney looked incredible last week and has an incredible matchup and Fred Taylor is out and Sammy Morris isn't practicing. Pierre Thomas is awesome, but Bell/Bush steal carries and he has a really tough matchup. As for WR, I have no idea tbh.

I'm starting Miles Austin and Desean Jackson, so i guess it's kinda pick 4.

I'm in this same exact position and I'd like to hear people's thoughts as well. Right now, I have both Carolina Backs in my lineup.

I would never start two backs from the same team if I only had two RB slots. i.e. I would never start both Westbrook and McCoy, or both Jackson and Lynch, or both McGahee and Rice, etc. and this applies here. what happens if Bills put up a hero effort and stuff the ground game? I don't like putting all my fantasy football eggs in one basket (really, this mostly applies to backs) unless it's something like Brady/Moss/Welker, or Brees/Colston, or Warner/Fitz/Boldin, etc.

also, can I just get my own personal LOL at Yahoo's weekly RB rankings, even if I'm the only one? Brad Evans ranked AP at the #20 RB option this week, behind guys like Maroney and Donald Brown. sure, I'm all for playing matchups and realizing he's against an elite run defense, but really, 20th?

I just wanna throw this out there.. I see a lot of people who are starting Miles Austin without question. As a rabid 'Boys fan who's been following them intently from the first day of camp - let me say you would be advised to not treat this guy as the second coming of Jesus like some of you seem to be.

He had a record day against a really crappy defense, and yes he's a starter now, but based on how he's performed throughout camp, preseason, and up to this point.. I don't see him all of a sudden putting up good numbers every week. Don't get too high on this guy (or any Dallas WR for that matter) - you're likely to be disappointed.

he's not bad, he's just never gotten the attention of a #1 until now. if roy doesn't play, he's going to be fighting for targets with Witten, and Crayton, and whichever backs they trot out there. Romo's going to throw it 30-35 times against the Falcons and I imagine Austin putting up something like 5/65/0-1.

Yeah I agree that typically it's not a good idea to double up, but the fact that Portis is injured, questionable, still playing for the Redskins, and playing Monday night that has me worried.

I'm starting Austin in the one league I have him, but mostly because I'm in Bye Week Hell, with Housh, Mason, and S-W all out. I'm not about to pull Andre Johnson for him, naturally, but I'd be pretty OK with a 5/65/1 performance.

I am still having trouble believing that people here want me to bench Steve giants Smith when the Giants are up against a fantastic rush D and terrible passing D.

And what's worse is I don't think I can argue with them. Welker vs. TB is absolutely must start and VJax vs KC should be money. I guess it comes down to SGS and LT, and LT is also going in against KC and trending WAY up. As in, Sproles got one goal line carry last week and finished 1 rush for 0 yards 1 completion for 4 yards. LT also was seen screaming about Sproles getting the goal-line carry after he got stuffed. LT is taking back those touches and I can't sit him, especially not against KC.
