I have to go Grant there. I'm a Portis owner in one of my leagues and I'd kill to have someone like Grant at this point.

I like all 4 WRs. Tough matchups for the top 3 RBs and Stewart might not get the touches. Take away the TD from last week and its an average game.

ya im pretty much down to welker and lynch, but leaning towards welker b/c Tenn sucks this year and jets D has been good until last week.

So even though this is a great dilemma to have, I hope I can still get some advice. Basically, I ended up with these guys because its a family league and several studs were dropped early due to lack of production and n00b drafting by several coursins. I was lucky enough to pick them up. Standard scoring, no ppr.

Please pick 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and 1 RB/WR from these:

Chris Johnson (Tenn) @ NE
Cedric Benson (Cin) vs. Hou
Pierre Thomas (NO) vs. NYG

Steve Slaton (Hou) @ Cin
Larry Fitzgerald (Ariz) @ Sea
Steve Smith (NYG) @ NO
Greg Jennings (GB) vs. Det
Roddy White (Atl) vs. Chi

(I was leaning towards bolded)

D/ST?

Bengals vs. Hou
Saints vs. NYG
Redskins vs. KC
Jaguars vs. Stl

I currently have the Bengals and we charge $4 per pickup so if consensus is that it's close I'll just leave them in the lineup. I'm tempted to go Jags based solely on their matchup but the fact that they're averaging 2.4 ff pts/game has me a little worried. The same could be said about the Skins production vs. weak teams so far as well. The Saints have proven to be a legit ff D/ST thusfar but they do face the Giants this week...help!

Cincy is committed to applying bracket coverage to #1 receivers. I'd bench AJ for VJax. Play S-W with him.

I have serious issues:

Pick 2 WR no PPR std ESPN scoring:

Marshall @ SD
Sims-Walker vs StL
Burleson vs Ari
Holmes vs Cle
Edwards vs Buf

I am thinking the top 2 guys. If needed I can start 1 at my flex also, but I have Portis, Forte, and Moreno going as 2 RB and flex. I am benching Bradshaw @ NO, I assume that's standard right?

Also, Pick 1:

Brees vs NYG
Hasslebeck vs Ari

I am going to bench Brees, is that crazy?

Burelson vs Ari
Steve Smith @NO

Hold the Bengals. Jags are vastly overrated this week even vs STL. STL has shown signs of being able to pass with Bulger last week & the Jags secondary is terribad.

I would probably go with LT, Hightower, Moss, Bowe, Burleson, Smith. Jones/LT is only close decision imo.

Mendenhall vs Cleveland (Parker likely still out)
K. Smith @ GB

And 3 WR from:
Andre Johnson at Cincy (Cincy has been blanketing #1 WRs with constant double coverage, erasing Mason, Jennings, Holmes, and B. Edwards)
Steve Smith NYG @ NO
Roddy White vs. Chicago (he finally showed up, but is he here to stay?)
Calvin Johnson @ GB (looks doubtful, not sure I'd play him even if he plays and risk another goose egg due to reinjury)
Ochocinco vs. Houston
I'd like another opinion on these.

Forte and Mendenhall

WR situation is tough, but Megatron is doubtful. In that case I'd go AJ, RW and 85. I'd feel dirty about benching Smith though.

Big Ben and Olsen. It's hard to trust Rodgers until you're sure he has a competent OL.

it's not like pittsburgh's o-line is that much better or the lions have jared allen or antwan odom. ben gets hit a lot too. i dont think it's that easy.

but it's hard to go wrong with either. i might take rodgers coming off a bye and playing in a dome.

Need 3, .5 ppr and 1pt/20 ret yds

A. Bryant v. Car

Hester @ Atl

Maclin @ Oak

A. Caldwell v. Hou

Walter @ Cin

I like Caldwell because not only does Hou have a bad def. they score a lot so he should see plenty of kick returns which are guaranteed points.

I also like Maclin v. Oak b/c Asomugha should be blanketing djax right? and Oak sucks

thoughts?

People considering benching guys like AJ and Brees are getting too clever. There are some guys you just start every week. I mean if you had to pick two of Wayne, Fitz, and AJ or pick between Peyton and Brees you could bench them but I sincerely doubt anyone's in that boat. Benching AJ for Sims-Walker or Brees for Hasselbeck is just crazy imo.

Maclin. He should take on the role of #2 WR nicely & Donovan has no problem spreading the ball. Hester is no guarantee of consistency at this point.

Caldwell/Maclin/Bryant

Bryant got a bunch of targets last week, I like him a bit more than Hester although Hester is still returning kicks? If so, it's probably fine either way. Should be lots of scoring here too.
