If those are your only two viable options, I'd cut Wells.

I have both Wells and Ward on my team. It looks like Ward might have the btter fantasy season. Especially if ppr.

he had 1 good year in minnesota, and that was in culpeppers ridiculous season. signed that huge contract with seattle, and has really not been anything that great at all

im sure there are better options available

Daniels is ahead, but not zomgwtflol ahead. FBG has him at 147 to 137 over the rest of the season in PPR.

I dunno, I really don't see anyone currently widely available on waiver wires that would outperform Burleson over the rest of the season. Again, I'm probably wrong about this cuz nobody else seems to agree.

Schaub will give Daniels more. Don't be swayed by 1 horrific game against the Jets. Also, Miller tweaked his knee and may not be 100%. Miller was my TE pick, but I picked up Ben Watson this week as an insurance policy.

See above. Miller is a great target, and looks like JaMarcus loves him. But right now - Daniels gets the nod. Texans are also getting Walter back this week so their air game should improve over the sh*tasticness of week 1. Walter is sort of a poor man's Welker, who moves chains and keeps drives alive, opening up routes for Daniels and Johnson.

I picked up Burleson in a couple of leagues (and even drafted him in one as my WR6)- hes a solid pickup on the WW. Temper your enthusiasm since he played the Rams but he has the tools to be a good WR.

while 700 yards and 9 TDs isn't exactly lighting the world on fire its still a solid season. He put up 320 + 5 TDs in his last 5 games in 07 which is why a lot of people were high on him in 08. Other than huge question mark guys like Chaz Sciliens there aren't many (any) better options on most wires.

i could be wrong but i think this is a case of "be careful of trusting yahoo"

" Wed, Sep 16

TE Zach Miller missed practice Wednesday with a knee injury he suffered in the preseason and isn't expected to play against Arizona.

(Yahoo! Sports)"

except oakland isn't playing arizona, jacksonville is. looks like rookie TE zach miller of the jaguars has the knee injury.

Holy hell, are you kidding me? No wonder they still had Miller slated for 5+ points. And I was curious as to why he had a preseason knee injury yet looked great Monday night...

WTF. I picked up Ben Watson today in case Miller and Scaife couldn't go. Thanks, Yahoo!

Nice work, Alex.

Standard scoring, 10 team league. Start 2 WR and 1 RB/WR. Starting WR are Randy Moss and Berrian, with Donnie Avery, and Chris Henry.

Would you drop Josh Morgan for Percy Harvin? I feel Harvin has more upside which is important in a 2 WR league.

no opinion. i'm holding on to davis but it's not a big deal.

would you drop joey galloway for any of the following players... louis murphy, miles austin, chansi stuckey, mario manningham, antwaan randle el?? no ppr. none are likely to actually ever end up in my lineups except possibly on a bye (2 wr plus flex) i have colston, djax, lee evans, torry holt (and galloway).

In situations like this I like players that might have an upside later such as manningham. I guess it doesn't matter much anyway. More of a game of who might be worth something in a trade later on. Randle El might have a nice next few weeks though.

Chester Taylor for Beanie Wells and Donnie Avery for Santana Moss?

I don't have ADP.

For whatever reason someone dropped Percy Harvin in my league. I'm somewhat full at WR(Andre Johnson, Ocho, Holmes,Royal, Anthony Gonzalez). But would anyone drop Anthony Gonzalez for Harvin?

PPR league, start 1rb/1wr/2flex

I have Shiancoe, but Shockey and Heath Miller are both free agents. Should I insta-pick up Shockey? PPR league.

Edit: OK, I picked up Shockey and dropped Johnny Knox, who was a drunken Sunday night pickup. The following WRs are available (PPR, 6 pt./all TD):

Nate Burleson
Justin Gage
Mark Clayton
Earl Bennett

Should I pick any of them up? I would have to drop one of the following:

Shiancoe
Darren McFadden
Fred Jackson
Cedric Benson
DeSean Jackson
Knowshon Moreno
Pierre Thomas

Many thanks

I don't like any of the 6 guys named, but since you're already pretty good on WR, I would either pick one up for the bye week (now or later) or pick up the one who has the most upside. IMO, Miles Austin has the most upside, but that's contingent on him getting the #2 wr job. Manningham may have the most upside in the eyes of others.

I would definitely do the first swap. I like Avery and have always hated Santana Moss, but Moss probably still holds more value. If you must drop Avery to pick up Moss, I'd probably do so.

That's really tough. You know Gonzo is going to get snatched up almost assuredly as soon as you drop him. And since Harvin is still there, he must have gotten through the waiver period unclaimed. I would probably hold onto Gonzalez at least one more week until his injury has more clarification (the range is 2-8 weeks right now). This is dangerous though because Harvin plays DET this week and could explode.

I like Burleson and Bennett, but not at the expense of any of the players you listed. How deep are you at WR? If you are not very deep, I would cut Shockey for one either Burleson or Bennett. Having two TEs is hurtful to your team's depth, and I still like Shiancoe over Shockey.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have Moss, White and DeSean Jackson at WR, and MJD + all those listed at RB. My league is 2 RB, 2 WR, one W/R flex, so I don't have a ton of depth at WR compared to RB. I'm thinking Burleson over Shockey/Shiancoe, which just leaves the question of who is more valuable, Shockey or Shiancoe (I know you said Shiancoe, but I'm curious what the consensus is).

I'm new to fantasy football, so please excuse any LOL comments I make.

It's certainly conceivable that Shockey is more valuable than Shiancoe, I just like Shiancoe more. Favre definitely seems to like him, and Shockey has had 3 straight disappointing seasons. I'm the type of person who doesn't let 1 week hold a lot of sway, especially when that week is when Shockey/Brees played the Lions. It is close, so I would go with your gut.

That said, you definitely should pick up a WR if that's what you have at WR on your team.
