Easily moved on 2 weeks in a row now with having a team that less than 10 people had and my games were never in doubt. KC week 1 Oak week 2. 600 people to start. Down to 430, should be even less. NE got lucky vs Buff, and Hou today would have knocked out 270 people. Next week could be the toughest week.

Huh? Next week has 3-4 double digit favs.

Week 4 could be sticky depending on who you have left.

Well squeaked by with the Ravens.

At some point gonna have to pick a decent team.

Picked against Oakland week 1.
Picked for Oakland week 2. (First time I can remember flipping like that in consecutive weeks)

I'm pretty convinced at this point they're good enough to pull a crazy upset and knock some people out of eliminator leagues because casual fans will pick against them on name recognition only. Gonna be sweet.

This year may suck for survivor pools. Jax may go 0-16.

Really wish I had thought about this more and pulled the trigger on Oakland instead of switching from Cincy to Philly at 12:30 yesterday.

Cincy was also a great pick this week. I don't think there's a chance in hell they lose a MNF home opener to a down division opponent after dropping the season opener.

I picked IND wk 1, OAK this week. Having that extra good team really does open up a lot of good opportunity down the line (I've formulated a few series of picks myself). OAK v JAX is obviously the maximum value/edge you can probably expect from OAK, so as a value pick it's pretty optimal, especially if you have no faith at all in JAX.

Hoping Jax can pull the upset this week. They most likely will stay on the west coast, Seattle coming off a huge win, might be a let down game in the cards. I've always thought the difference between the best and worst team isn't that much.

Wait, what? Do teams ever stay away from their facilities on a full week? Genuinely curious, I'd never in a million years think the Jags wouldn't go back to Jacksonville to prepare.

The line opened at 20. TWENTY!!

Even if most of the pool take the Seahawks, I will kick myself if I lose with anyone else. SEA it is.

You have a better chance of hosting SNL than the jags do of winning this game

Losing this week with so many viable options would be such a kick in the pants. Probably going to happen to someone who gets it in as -400 or better.

I'd probably pick up religion if the Jags won next week.

That would be a hell of a trip to fly back to Jacksonville and than back to Seattle in 6 days. They are staying in Fremont, CA for this week.

I'm sure Jax won't win, but I have a strategy and I have to stick with it. Grasping for straws obv, but staying on the west coast, perhaps a change of scenery will do them some good. Plus these athletes are mental midgets. After that win last night, the media will be eating up Seattle and the players will probably believe their own hype, and will probably play down to their competition on Sunday. I'm sure they win, but hey if I can get a nice sweat.

I have 10 live entries into the local sportsbook "last fan standing" pool. You can use the same team week after week if you want.

I'm trying to figure out the proper distribution of risk in a week like week #3. My first instinct is 7 tickets on SEA and 3 on DEN. But 6-4 and 8-2 might be right also. Thoughts?

Petey boy could announce he is going to rest half his starters and the line would still be 10+.

They don't make the line to guess what the score will be. They set it, so they aren't stuck with 90% on one side. Having said that, an interesting stat I saw is that only 6 double digit underdogs have won outright in the last 20 years.

This is simply not true. Sportsbooks understand expected value. If you think they care if the action is 50-50, then you don't.
