Just back into civilization and catching up on stuff now.

Gonna go with option 1 to keep things simple.

Based on the tone of the discussion and banter during the draft, my gut tells me that this group would be too obstinate and competitive to purposely tank .

(Plus Yahoo's draft algorithm graded my roster a "D", assuring me of a last place finish and a first overall pick next year!)

personally dont really care at this point....the guys that voted for the 12-1 can figure it out. would be nice to have this stuff solved before the season starts though

Yeah it's obv final standings. Champ gets #12 regardless of regular season finish. 1-6 is determined by regular season. Just like NFL.

To clarify. It should probably be final standing for playoff teams. Regular season standings for non playoff teams. Otherwise you could bubble and tank consolation bracket games to get a better pick

Basics are that you pick a team every week (normally you have a salary cap and fill out a lineup that works with that cap) and can compete against other players. Buyins vary from a buck to 100s.

so you have x amount of dollars to spend on say like qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/wr/te/dst/k.
there is say 100 ppl that make a team for 1 reg nfl week and you have to finish in what place in order to win?

am i on the right track here with what goes on?

Pretty much.

Though most of the games are smaller. Like you vs 9 others and you just place in top 3. Think fantasy football sit and gos. There is a lobby where you can see the different sizes and structures of games. Works similar to online poker

I have only done freerolls on FanDuel, so am not totally sure what their vig is like. I think Draft Day is like 10%. Just pulled it up and top one is $11 for a 10 team league and the pool is $100. Looks to be the standard
