I am confused why we have to make the most bizarre and unconventional rules ever. I get you have to drop one/pick up/move to IR/pick up, but I don't get this stuff about a player has to be hurt on your team in order to put them on IR. Makes no sense. If there's a FA who happens to be on IR, why can't I drop my kicker, add the IR player, move them to IR and then pick up a different kicker.

The amount of random rules you guys come up with is lol

edit - I don't even care about adding somebody just to stash them on IR, as we are all smart enough to just drop our kicker/def, add player, put on IR, pick up a different kicker/def. It's not like somebody will be forced to drop some awesome prospect or something.

i also agree with this. If i had just picked up Evans before I picked up my defense and when I had 19 players, put Evans on IR, and then picked up the defense, there would be no problem right?

Correct.

The difference is that if a guy has the #1 kicker in the league (for example), and a bench he really likes, he's faced with the prospect of having to drop someone first before stashing on IR. It keeps us all on a level playing field. That's really it, it's not weird or particularly complicated.

It's not a huge deal guys but it seems to me the IR spot was not created in this league so we could stash players. It was created more as a safe guard for a team that loses a valuable player to IR and doesn't want to be forced to drop another valuable player to fill a full starting roster since our benches are so short. That's why I "think" it was mentioned the player had to be on our team at the time of injury to be able to place said player on our IR.

Man only two offers for LeVeon Bell????? Thanks for the interest guys.

Rafiki has the best offer right now. I'll wait on accepting for a couple more hours and see if anybody else shows any interest. Maybe some people haven't seen he's available. I kind of still don't like my team. I've won both weeks but you can tell I'm not in contention to win it this year. Hopefully some of my young prospects break out in 2015. Cheers!

If you want the point proven, ask Kuta who just picked up a new kicker in Buffalo because he's near the top of the points. Or ask Jet's Suck to trade Gostowski for Shayne Graham, and see if he accepts.

Kickers are lol's, but some are less lol than others over the course of a whole year.

Why we are on the topic of rules. I feel very strongly that once you drop a player, you can no longer use them as a bargaining chip in a trade.

50 point gap between Gostowski and Bryant last year. 3 points more per game in a league with this much parity is not nothing. Like I said, attempt to get Gostowski straight up from Jets Suck in a deal kicker for kicker trade. I assure you he will not make the trade. Why wouldn't he just trade you an equivalent kicker?

For the record I don't think bthekuta was angle shooting, but it's prob best for the league when you can eliminate grey areas.

I'm interested to where Sir Rawrs values RB's vs Kickers, judging my his roster, slightly ahead?

Judging by your recent trades, I'm interested to see where you value having a chance to compete in the next 5 years. Not very high?

You understand that PK20 is as likely to be owned as PK12, right? It is literally impossible for us to all own PK1 through PK12 at year's end, particularly when 9 points separate PK15 from PK20.

This isn't that hard, man. Plenty of people owned guys like Blair Walsh last year, that's a 49 point gap from Gostowski. Like I said, trade Walsh for Gost straight up any time you'd like to try.
