Just read this article at RG and this guy is talking about the advantages of having multiple lineups in GPPs.

I’ve never seen anyone mention this before, but this is a ridiculous advantage in my opinion. This might be getting a bit long-winded, but I want to elaborate more on this. My personal strategy is as follows…
a) When using the LineupBuilder tool, use the “lock” feature to lock in about 11-18k in salary cap using two or three Sunday & Monday night game players.
b) After the Sunday Afternoon games, edit your teams that have the highest totals so far so that you capture as many of the “star players” from each of the 4 teams remaining.

I see his method, but to do that, you have to restrict your lineup in the first place to keep those players playing Sunday night and Monday night available. So maybe you would have already scored 205+ all in the earlier games. You do tend to have the better offensive players in the night games, so maybe not a big restriction, but still might not be optimal for overall lineup selection to wait. thoughts?

1) You have to have 10 teams sitting around 180 points ... that's not so easy to do

2) It's not exactly a revelation that if you have more teams you can get exposure to more players

He's using the simple argument of having 100 $1 tourney lineups instead of one $100 lineup. So having multiple lineups with big scores will happen.

Not really a simple argument.

Sure you'll have more higher scoring lineups, but the cash line and score needed to win a $1 tournament with 10s of thousands of entries will likely be much higher than those for a several thousand person $100 tournament. More lineups in a lower buyin tournament does not necessarily = more EV.

I wish FD had more micro buyin GPPs. DK seems to have a ton of $.25 - $3 GPPs with big guarantees
