With Jimmy Butler in your lineup, Turner was a de facto UTIL, and he can pretty much never look the best overall at the price before lineups lock.

Gibson is a safe 20-28 point guy but his last game before yesterday was inflated by something like 6 blocks which are more random. But its safe, so I get it. Amir Johnson had the safe safety as Taj with less risk than Mitotic at a cheaper price.

If your lineup is looking like this, not waiting for Kobe news against the Kings has to be the leak. Playing Kobe or Lou, depends ng on Kobe's status was safer volume in a better matchup than Turner. And spending middle class money on two low upside forwards is a tad wasteful because the same fpts can be found around $500-$1000 cheaper.

Otherwise, you seem to have thought through your lineup well. The Turner play isn't bad at all in a vacuum, but with Butler in your lineup, and the ways bigs kill Chicago, going Amir-Kobe/Lou is the better play than Turner-Niko in cash where you took on a bit more risk for the price than you needed to.

Not sure when you set your lineup, either, but if Rondo was out, you left no space to plug in Collison so that UTI spot should've been an injury-dependent one, again, given the money you were willing to spend on Turner and what could be save from Niko to Amir.

Does anyone notice a time of day correlation between the times you register for cash games and how soft they are? In other words, should I be reserving during the day, assuming fish are setting lineups or reserving and forgetting, etc?

Had Brow in 1/6 full slate gpp lineups but in a turbo lineup I used in a 3x, 50/50, and gpp. Actually cashed the triple (finishing 4/34) and double ups with 254.75, despite only 53.3% and 59.7% owning Brow. There really weren't many great ways to spend 10k at 7:00, I guess.

Agree with poster above. The chance he exists the game in which he plays or the team is just such a disaster that the game doesn't come to him make him a limited exposure gpp play. His early exits aren't variance; there's a pattern. 3 of his last 9 games not hitting 30 minutes. From a guy you need 55, that can't happen. On a large slate, there has to always be a better way to spend $10.5k on 75% of lineups.

Also, 7/10 h2h opponents had Brow, which was really weird to me. I guess no centers over 7900 and the savings on Mario, Arthur, and Dipo, fear of a Thunder blowout and KD-Russ both playing just made people auto-click Brow. Surprised I didn't face more Tony Allen. I had him projected to 5-6x before confirmation he was starting. Maybe people were afraid of too much Denver-Memphis exposure? I did see a lot of Gallo in my h2h opponents. Price was just on the right side of $7k to pivot, IMO.

Same. All three are classic gpp players (in contrast to, say, Dirk or Paul Millsap, classic cash players). That being said, on a 3 game slate, these plays are more appropriate given the lack of options. My response was to just not fire at all today.

Interesting. So not only do you think a 3 game slate with 2 possible blowouts (or at least big leads so minutes become uncertain) is really high variance, you actually think there is no edge to be had at all?
