Definitely can be improved, but I actually like the simplicity look.

FD is 100x better than DK in terms of easily being able to export lineups into different contests. DK makes it impossible to know which lineups are in which contests.

For frustrated newbies: listen to people here emphasizing cash games. I've only been playing NBA for a couple of weeks. Started with $2 and $5 50/50s with 1-2 $1 GPPs.

I've played:
(11) $2 50/50s, cashing 8 times for +$6.80
(25) $5 50/50s, cashing 17 times for +$28
(16) $1 GPPs, cashing 3 times for +$4, thanks to one lucky $15 cash.

My point is that I have had 11 50/50 lineups that didn't cash in GPPs, 4 in the top 10 of 50/50s that didn't cash in GPPs. The sweats of the GPPs are fun but the work to put a great lineup together is very stressful.

Biggest point: The sample size is small but I'm having fun with higher shares in 50/50s (around 3 to 1 per night).

Also, if you tilt hard, just fade the late night tournies. So hard for noons like us to forget the salary cap and find gems.

People in this thread are very helpful. I have this gamble in my that would punch a wall if a 50/50 lineup would've finished high in a GPP, so I can't resist them, but if you can't afford to have fun with them, back off because winning is fun and encourages learning.

The 50/50s are easier to learn and there is so much learning to get in there that can get lost in the frustration of GPPs.

Anyway, thanks to the people who help out in this thread. I'm learning a lot and having more fun with pre-Xmas basketball than ever.

Steph so hard to fade. Stars have put up such big points this year it seems like.

I am always finding Barnes in my lineups because he is sort of blowout proof... and can put up reasonable stats and even put a +30 game.

He's been so good to me. I have to watch myself daily and not emotional for it.

I'm not fading Curry in all my lineups tonight. But ended up with more exposure to Lillard this evening. I like the discount and the fact that it'll probably be a closer game.

in one of my 100-man 50/50s there's 18 accounts with identical lineups, seems kind of fishy for a 7-game slate.
