I just feel like “who I was going to drop” is a can of worms. What if someone did well in the few days that no one noticed or got hurt? Just a lot more objectively fair to drop whoever who wrongly picked up. I don’t think anyone was angle shooting but you resolve it fairly and fast to just drop whoever was last added

i agree except in this instance there was reasonable cause for the mistakes (roster spot number change). i think this is the fair solution for this instance, and any further infractions we'd just remove the last player added like you said

I mean, I'm arguing that it was an exceptional circumstance given that the roster spots were adjusted to start the season. there is no precedence to be made - this is the only time and there is no next time. you can't just look at every situation and rule without looking at circumstances.

that said if it's going to make more sense I'm not going to fight it too much. just trying to get it right here. dan can come opine I'll remove myself from the discussion. it's not like Augustin has benefited me

one extra game to track isn't going to be a big deal. none of this in the big picture is and you'd rather make the right decisions than the hasty ones

Who they would cut now might not be who they would cut then, which is my issue. Kind of bull**** if people can get a free ride with an additional guy and get a couple of more games of sample size to determine who the best player to cut is.

I feel like it has to be the 19th guy they added but that's just my opinion. People who break rules intentionally or not shouldn't be given breaks like that.

I keep saying that I agree with your thinking but to call the circumstance unexceptional isn't correct. I never said we should keep giving people breaks, most certainly not people who are going to keep breaking rules to get edges

It’s a weird circumstance but everyone made cuts to 18 to start the season so it’s not like it’s out of nowhere that adding a 19th would be an ok thing to do. We all knew what our roster size was supposed to be, because the limit was set up wrong it’s just the same as in mlb IMO, which is why I don’t think this is that exceptional or big a deal

In any case, I've created a new tab called 2018 NBA Standings Adjustment and recorded the 5 games to be removed from the final standings. I'll have 2 more games at PG than specified on PG, and Sergsz will have 2 more at UTIL and 1 more at G. I've PM'd sergsz that he needs to re-add Jaylen Brown

Is it possible to call up aaron jones and cut O’Leary? I can’t cut him because he’s locked, I know on yahoo I’d be able to cause he was benched but can’t on ESPN

possibly depending on the fact pattern. I'll have a look later to see if the 19th guys had accrued any stats.
