Because we started draft with 5 and people have made moves with that in mind, all 12 teams would need to approve to change any rules.. Wouldnt be fair otherwise..

We could also amend the rules and 5 have rookie slots and during the draft you can designate if you are putting a player on active or rookie roster. That way allows you to pick as many players as you want, just once you hit 5 you have to start cutting active roster players. Again, would need 12 yes votes to do this for this year

I vote that it is ok this year for someone with 7 picks for example, to add 5 to the taxi squad and drop two from their roster and put the other two on the active roster. (But once on the active roster, they cant go back to the taxi)

How about this year there's no limit but they have to cut people by next years limit? I think the most picks someone has is 7 or 8 and they're not calling them up now anyway

If trades worked out that way.

Had a couple of waiver questions so wanted to propose something.

Once the big draft ends we do 7 days of open waivers in baseball, basketball and football. No bids just first come first serve adds and drops. After that time period all adds and drops in those sports are frozen until after their rookie drafts. Baseball will have a rookie draft then normal adds and drops will start with bid $$ either after the rookie draft or when the 7 days ends, whichever is later.

Something like that work??
