This would be excellent if you feel it's worth examining further.

If you've got the data I'll do the stuff. I just don't have prospect lists going back further than last year. Or if you know where they're available, that's good too.

uhhh wtf? CBS is giving away MLB.com Gameday premium to the whole league if we renew today, I usually buy that so maybe we should think about renewing today?

I saw that too, was going to talk to Karak about it. One of us should be able to get that done today.

Just wanted to say I prefer a slow auction comparable to the one we had last year as opposed to a one day affair.

this would be an entirely new experience for me so detailed explanation would be necessary.

our initial auction took place over a month. 20-30 players were nominated at a time and able to be bid on. When a player went 24 hours without being bid on he was sold.

the site we used to do this last year is now a pay site so we need to come up with an alternative slow-draft system. I have not done any googling yet to see if there are other free options.

CBS has an "Online Extended Live Draft" option built in but I dont think it is for auctions which sucks.

Ok that makes sense... I have little to help in terms of solutions guys so I apoligize in that regard. You guys seem to have things figured out, once I learn what's going on I can be of more help.

2.99 monthly per person it looks like. so $40 for the league. I emailed them to see if their software is even compatible with a free agent auction as opposed to a initial dispersal auction (where everyone has same $/roster space).

mmmbtone had a blind auction site he let 2p2ers use for one of their 'best of' auctions, maybe he could let us use it. i'll pm him and see whats up.

Interested. Already do dynasty fb and dynasty snake baseball but I would prefer to get into a dynasty auction baseball league. I'm obsessive about these things and on time with payments. I don't back out year in and year out. If anyone has any openings <=$300 shoot me a pm. Cheers.

fwiw couchmanagers answered me and said their software can handle our free agent auction. so if we want to do a slow auction i think that's the best option, and it'll be ~$40. CBS has their own live-auction though so we could still do that for no additional $.

How much was the league from CBS karak? just curious how much of the prizepool we're spending on this stuff.

edit: looked it up and it's $150. we had some sort of coupon/referral last year that cut the cost for us, can we only use that one time? $200 out of $1300 is a pretty significant rake, but that said i'd still be willing to pay the $15.5/rake to have it the way we want it.

You can only get that discount once, it was because someone in the league referred us and we both got a discount.

I think its worth the 150 for the league on CBS, Im a little biased though bc CBS is my fave fantasy site.

I held off on the league because of the new high cost. Is this worth it when we can get a lot of the functionality on Yahoo for free? That is a damn high rake.
