There was an advance two-year buy-in of $200 at the formation of the league, so $100/year.

I can't find the specific post addressing someone selling their team, but you would essentially be purchasing Jokes' team from him. There may have been a clause where the current owner can dictate how much he sells the team for (dependent on player value), but since the owner has been MIA for so long, are we going to just refund Jokes $100 for 2011 and have the new owner pay the standard buy-in? So the pot would stay the same, right?

Should we adjust the buy-in for taking on Jokes' team for 2011 based on the quality of the team? Again, I can't find the procedures for this right now, but I thought we drew something up.

Exit, we determined definitively that Jokes isn't coming back right? I sent one last message to his personal email making it clear that we are planning on selling his team as soon as this week if he doesn't reply or post here.

I vote Yes on Muckface buying out the team, he will be an active owner and will contribute to lols and **** talking.

Yahoo lovers in the league will be happy to see some of the new changes to cbs's baseball site, Ive only opened a few pages but they have added drag and drop lineup maneuvers.

As long as muckface is familiar with and agrees to the league rules/guidelines, I'm fine with it. Coff's vouch for him is good enough for me.

you currently have 33 active, and 8 minor league players for a 2011 Salary of 986. You're the last team waiting to cut players for the year and you need to be under 30 active. Note after player cuts there is free agency so you'll want to have roster space to sign people.

Total salary cap is 1000, but note that you'll have 10 minor leaguers when the season starts instead of the 8 you have now, so that's an extra $8 ($4 per) you won't have for FA's.

CBS sent out an email today:

1.) Exit, were you the one who handled fee collection and payment to CBS last year? I don't remember how the funds were sourced though.

2.) With the possible exception of the CBS registration fee and Muckface, everyone is paid up for this season already.

3.) FREE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY! OH SNAP!

Whoever drafted this team, I can see why he quit, he drank the kool-aid on every hype train last preseason.

I don't think he "quit" because of the quality of his team. He hasn't even posted on 2+2 since the last time he appeared in this thread, so something happened.

Also, please be sure to list specific players that you decide to cut, even if it's every hitter. It makes it easier to sort through and lowers the odds of a miscommunication if the player names are spelled out.

That was by no means me posting my official cuts, it was more me talkin some ****.

I am jsut finalizing my cuts and stuff, I need some more time, learning the league and stuff.
